The actor who played him, Pat Morita has died. I always wondered what became of him... I loved the Karate Kid as well!

Awwww... that's sad. But, he did have a good innings though at 73.

Still sad. He's a legend. He will always be remembered as Mr Miyagi..

He was the teacher in the Karate Kid - remember "wax on, wax off"... that was him.

Yeah, I agree, some do fair better, but at the same time, the amount of famous people who die young is shocking. At least at 73, one would surmise he has had a good life.
