Hayfever
Is anyone getting this way worst than usual this year? Stupid pollen.
I don't have hayfever, but I've noticed recently a lot of my friends or people I know have been complaining about their hayfever getting worse.
But once the pollen levels decrease, it should get better hopefully. |
Strangely enough - mine hasn't been so bad this year! I usually get it in June - but hardly had anything - unless it is going to start later this year!
mine is always bad so yeah i'm suffering i've got various triggers so mine can run apr to sept
Mine was awful a few days back, pain everywhere but now I've just got an itchy throat. I'm hoping that's the worst it's gonna get this year.
Mine's awful this year too. It's worst in the mornings I find. I hate sitting there snivelling on the bus to college :(
Yes mine is bad this week for about 2 weeks. God I hate it so uch, I spend more time using tissues then anything else at the moment.
Its pretty bad at the moment and the pollen count is set to be high over the weekend
I'm not so bad right now but a couple of weeks ago was. The thing that bugs me the most is it makes me feel sleepy, which I know sounds weird but it does. Might be as I'm constantly rubbing my eyes and just want to nod off for relief!
Howcome like everyone has hayfever? D:
Thought it was only few people that got it. |

I was all right for past ten years or so but this year I keep sneezing, my eyes are itchy and use tissues all the time.

I've had it bad, and I haven't had hayfever since I was like two years old :|
Yeah, I get hayfever pretty bad and it's been horrible so far. My eyes are all swollen.
Mines been as bad as usual, same as last year and the year before :(
Its horrible. |
We're having pretty much the best weather for summer since 2006 so unsurprisingly, my hayfever has been the worst I can remember since then. I take two prescription antihistamines per day and it helps, but it's no miracle worker.
I am thinking about taking hayfever immunotherapy next spring as my hayfever is so severe in June, it prevents me from functioning. |
yesterday was horrid i sneezed so much i hurt my ribs and my head felt like it was gonna explode hardly slept last night cos of it bit better today but its proper taking it out of me
i found the tesco liquid medicine is pretty good cos you can take it every 4-6 hours compared to others that are once a day |
Mine is ssoooooo awful! I go to bed with like vaseline my noise mint tea the whole lot hahaha i look very sorry for myself.

You could try getting some or all of the following essential oils from a local pharmacy Eucalyptus, rose, lavender, melissa, camomile, pine and tea tree.
Use two drops from any three in an oil burner overnight to give a restful night's sleep. When one particular mix starts losing its effectiveness, try a different mix. I am not saying it will cure you of you hayfever, but a friend of mine now doesnt use any anti histamine tablets to control her hayfever, just a mix of oils - she also carries a similar mix applied to a cotton wool ball in a resealable bag during the day and sniffs at that if she starts getting any symptoms of her hayfever. |
