My thoughts- Chico doing timewarp is stupid, I hate that song, I would have picked Purple Rain by Prince :spin2:. The James Brown song is perfect for him though.
Journey South-I don't like Candle in the wind but they may do it well, Bad Day's a good choice imo.
Shayne-Carless whisper is a great choice for him but take your mama is a poor choice.
Andy-When I fall in love will be like some of his other performances and a bit boring whilst easy lover is something different and I can see him doing well.
Brenda-I'm outta love-yay she's doing something fairly recent and I wanted her to tackle an Anastacia song and I know I'll never love this way again is a song I like and she sounded great in rehersal.

I think Brenda's going to be the best for the 2nd week in a row imo.

My mums pleased hes doing Timewarp lol. 2 good choices for Brenda Andy lol I keep singing Easy lover, JS not sure over candle in wind and Bad Days a good choice and Shayne Careless whisper good and ss not sure yet

i think Journey South singing daniel powter bad day will be great and im predicting they will be the best on the night i think either Andy or Chico will go on saturday

Chico I'm with you Fernzy about Timewarp. I hate that song, and I can't see it doing any favours for Chico. I love the James Brown song, and think it suits Chico.
Journey South Bad Day is perfect for them. Not sure about Candle In The Wind, but so far they have done well with some songs which I thought they would struggle with.
Shayne Two good choices for him.
Brenda I'm Outta Love should be great - right up Brenda's street. I don't know the other song.
Andy No doubt he will be good doing When I Fall In Love, but I would like to see him do less of these old smoochy songs and do something a bit more modern. Easy Lover is a classic; I reckon he will do well with it.

I reckon Chico will go this week - am I right in thinking that it's just the public vote now, and the judges don't have any say in who goes?

Yes only the public votes count now Ruth. I think Chico and JS will be the bottom 2.

Apparently Chico is going to be cross dressing to perform it, in the spirit of the Rocky Horror Show!:shocked: Whether it is brilliant or awful, I have a feeling it may well be the most memorable performance of the night!

Hmm... I read that he will be dancing with a number of cross dressing dancers but it said nowt about him dressing up. I dread to see it whatever way it is put together.

Not really sure on Brend'as choices.

Andy's choices are OK. But isn't Sharon the one who criticised TCS and Nich for playing it safe and doing more of the same each week? Isn't that what we are getting with Andy?

JS - I am not too fond of them but they always choose great songs.

Shayne - I think they are both a bit cheesy TBH. Take Your Mama is an awful song and the only reason he is doing it is to show off he can screech his way through songs.

Journey South-Bad Day: 6, Recent song made to sound old and verging on karakoe. and Candle in the wind:7, Simplistic and sung well.
Chico-I feel good:5, less energetic than I expected and Timewarp:6, better than I expected
Andy-Easy Lover:6, Not his sort of song but a good effort and When I fall in love:8, much better choice and sung very well.
Shayne-Take your mama:6, Hate the song, did not stand out and carless whisper:7, Really good song and he did well.
Brenda-I'm outta love:8, really good, I actually thought the arrangement was better than the original and I know I'll never love this way again:9, right on the money.

Journey South - two great performances i really liked bad day best on the night for me
Chico - i feel good i didnt like it i thought he was awfull but with timewarp he done alot better probably his best performance
Brenda - another good week both good performances
Shayne - take your mama really suited his voice but i didnt like careless whisper
Andy - his first song was awfull probably worst of the night but picked it up on his 2nd performance and like Simon said good job he had a 2nd chance

I'm outta love - Superb!!! She is raising her game every week!
I know I'll never love this way again - Again, superb. Fantastic vocals.

Journey South:

for me they sang bad day better than daniel powter and candle in the wind was jus magical, but in that song it was obvious carl has a atronger voice and he out sang andy but theyre a really good act and for me overall did the best!.

Chico: how fit is he? lol!. The first song suited him sooooo well. time warp was funny and better than i expected. i love chico he puts fun into the x factor and is a breath of fresh air!.

Brenda: I hate that anastasia song but the vocal was brilliant but the dancin she did mid way was cringey lol. the second song blew me away and was the vocals of the series so far.

Shayne: forst song was fab, he really made it his own moved well and looked gorgeous, the second song was brill too i think that he did really well. he ticks all the boxes, appeals to all age ranges. he has the x factor!.

Andy: weakest overall and should go. hes so boring!. yeah he can sing but he reminds me too much of steve, the first song was dredful i think he was trying to compete with shayne and sing younger than what he actually is. and the second song suited hos voice but sounded a bit off key and bored me.

Journey South: Candle in the Wind was better but think they might go tonight
Chico- Scared me and would like him to go but was entertaining
Brenda- Just fab and could be the "dark horse"
Shayne- take your mama was better but was just great
Andy- 2nd song better than first have to agree with Simon and *gulp* Louis:nono:

Journey South Thought Bad Day was good - 7/10, but I LOVED Candle In The Wind - performance of the night for me. Incidentally Sharon said that Elton doesn't perform that song any more, but I thought it was just the Diana version that he doesn't perform? I thought he still did the original. Anyway, great show for JS, and they totally deserved their place next week.
Chico I Feel Good was...memorable! Not a great vocal performance, but a lot of fun! As for Timewarp - I hate that song, but I actually enjoyed Chico's version tonight. It was right that he went, but I enjoyed watching him tonight.
Brenda I could not understand all the fantastic comments about I'm Outta Love, because I thought it was Brenda's worst performance yet. I love Anastascia and that song, but I thought Brenda's rendition was just boring. But her second song was excellent - one of her best performances in the whole show.
Andy I didn't think Easy Lover was that bad! I love that song, because I think Philip Bailey has got an amazing voice, and admittedly it wasn't the best choice for Andy, but I don't think he did too bad with it, and the judges seemed very harsh. When I Fall In Love - nobody will ever do that song like Nat King Cole, but Andy did a great version.
Shayne Take Your Mama wasn't bad - not half as good as the Scissor Sisters though. Careless Whisper left me underwhelmed, like so many of Shayne's performances. I didn't think he did very well with it to be honest.
