Mario - worms and US accent?
 

Whenever I see Mario he seems to be scratching his ar$e, does he have worms or something? Also, he has the most annoying whiney UK/American accent. I can't stand him! Ben was trying to pry him off when he gave him a hug in the closet in last nites re-cap show. Creepy.

Well it has a fake whininess that makes me think he's aware of the cameras and acting really badly.
When he went mad with his 'I've had to work so much harder...' speech and said 'No more mister nice guy' he went out of the room and then said nothing! Very wimpy.

I think he was just really annoyed because he'd been put up for eviction unfairly.

Thats what I said in an earlier post why is he putting on a fake American accent Does he think he sounds cool? so sad.

Totally unfairly, he was going to be up whether Scabby or Gollum won (collusion in nominating seems to be quite acceptable to BB).

Then he was first to comfort the Scumbag when she had her fake but photogenic breakdown the day after the eviction!

Yeah but when it happened I think he was just totally pissed off that Shabby chose him [which is understandable].

Then after he'd calmed down he comforted her... genuinely nice person I'd say.

His mother and step dad live in the US, so I doubt it's fake.

It sounds fake as its done occasionally. Did he live in the US though!

And she repays him with her bitching lies about him being the Tree of Temptation, what a nice person she is!:conf:

She's just really unsure of him.. probably because he's in with Ben and that lot... but it's only her thoughts.

Anyway she has more or less guaranteed him another nomination from thicko JJ.:wavey:

You don't have to have lived somewhere to pick up accents,
There are some people who are so attuned to the accents they hear that they can mimic an accent unconsciously by hearing it for an extended length of time or just even regular phone calls.
I live with my Austrialian boyfriend and I sometimes sound like I have lived there even though I've never been there.

Thank God for that. I thought for a minute that I was the only one who'd heard that. He's half Welsh, half Italian and one parent lives in the US. He's bound to have a bit of a mish-mash of accents.

I thought he was a bit Somerset or Norfolk.

Although he did say stattus the other day which is very American.

the fact that he is "half italian" means nothing when he lived most of his live in UK. DNA does not transfer accents you know. You can be born in Italy and thus be Italian, but if you lived in UK most of your early life then you will have some form of UK accent only.
