I tthink Nate is right. At 2 - 1 England had to keep pressing for an equaliser and gaps opened up at the back. At 2 -2 it would have been very different. England might have actually played some football

I agree. Thats where they screwed it up. England would surely have beaten Ghana but an England Germany game is impossible to call even if we have, on paper, the better players.
