FAME-hungry former Big Brother contestants have agreed to re-enter the house for just £30 a day.
The wannabes will appear for a fortnight in August for the last ever BB twist.

It will see the winner of the current series crowned in a surprise final on August 24.

A host of previous champs and memorable faces will return the same night and battle to be named the ultimate champion.

But old housemates will earn from a little over £1 an hour.

An insider said: "The producers know how keen some of the ex-housemates are to go back on telly. Some of them will do it for peanuts.

"It's not about the money for them, it's about being in the limelight again."

But some big names from the past such as Brian Dowling, 32, Kate Lawler, 30, and Cameron Stout, 39 - winners of BB2, BB3 and BB4 - have turned down offers.

Celeb Big Brother champs Jack Dee, 47, Mark Owen, 38, and Alex Reid, 34, are also said to have knocked back deals.

But BB7 favourite Nikki Grahame, 28, BB8 winner Brian Belo, 22, and BB9 runner-up Mikey Hughes, 35, have said they want to take part.

A show spokeswoman said the line-up was still being decided and would be announced on August 24.
