New Housemates
 

Why is is that new housemates are so rarely any good. The vast majority of late arrivals always turn out to be rubbish housemates and it's always obvious why they didn't go in on launch night. A few exceptions I can think of:

Josh
Tim
Kinga
Aisleyne
Sara
Bea

All of BB8's were absolutely abysmal, as were all of the House Next Door housemates in BB7. BB10's second lot were terrible and don't get me started and Becki in BB5.

I think Jayne BB7 was quite good and could have been a good housemate if she hadn't have gone so soon. Orlaith BB6 was a good late arrival too, in my opinion, she stirred things up a bit in the house when she went in.

Agree.

And you just know they won't win and then if anything it always sort of makes the housemates come together and turn on the other newbies, and we feel more connected to the other housemates and WE and the HMs usually think 'Who the **** do this lot think they are just walking in here'

But that usually goes away soon.

I think Stu from BB9 was a great newbie, he was an epic housemate and provided some laughs during LF.

Becki was such a knob, when she randomly walked in and pretended to be Italian, I mean that was just a fail.

Yeah BB8s Newbies were coming in left right and centre infact most that cast were newbies, that is one of the reasons that series was a fail.

I hope this bunch of newbies can be good though, if they are from the shortlist and are entertaining they will be fine.

Oh yes Orlaith was great.

Her and Science had amazing arguments.

Totally agree, they get the chance to put in some epic new people and we always get weirdos or bores who never live up to the originals and get evicted straight away.
