Damn, :( they are ripping Ben to absolute pieces, this is not fair IMO... but its great television.

So, everyone talks about nominations and nothing gets done, someone doesnt respect the TOT and then BB act like they have done something offensive!! :shocked:

They made the nom talk go on for about a week... and they only took food away, Ben has been on punishments/special tasks for 4 days now... it not fair.

The Tree warned Ben, but he thought he knew better than the tree, silly boy! :devil: He now knows not to do that! :D

It's not fair, but this entire series of events was planned because everyone's been passing their ToT tasks for the past 3 weeks. They knew Ben wouldn't complete the arm wrestling, it didn't matter how he did on standup, they had this task set up for him, and knew by the end of it everyone would hate Ben. It's great for story, they should have made it less obvious/forced.

The thing is that this punishment will only work for BB with someone like Ben because he is a maverick and will do what HE wants to do. Ben has never watched the show and clearly his agent has not told him much about it, so Ben has come in as an individual on a what he sees as a game show and does not necessarily see it as a team effort, but as an individual endurance test. He already knows he is not particularly popular in the house, so no change there then. He would be put up next week anyway by Scabby, Nathan, Keeva, Ife, Corin, and possibly JJ and Mario so what the hell?

Yeah...going by the crap punishment shabby got...do you blame them for not taking it seriously?

Should at least be consistent with the punishments...

They should have done this to Shabby when she failed!

Whether he passed or failed the original task was immaterial. Ben was being punished for revealing he'd been given a secret mission and talking about his discussions with ToT.

As part of that punishment, BB naughtily showed them he'd flatly lied about what the task he'd been given was all about. BUT they only did that after he refused to take his punishment task this afternoon and instead landed Dave wis his punishment.

Well Shabby told Caoimhe about the tree but she was not punished

Caoimhe received the wrath as they likely figured that would upset Shabbers more.

Caoi's punishment was made to sit in the task room and listen for hours on end to a looped recording of Ben droning-on.

That sounds like a far harder punishment to most level-headed people than having to do a few mild exercises for 40 minutes

After Benny-boy had refused to take his punishment this afternoon and dumped it off to Dave, BB showed the HMs that Ben's secret mission had simply been to organise arm-wrestling and talk Chav (if you recall, he'd flatly lied to make himself look good about the nature of the task - he told them the task would have involved perpetrating bad-stuff on everyone so he'd refused - he gave the example that one of the things he'd been asked to do was steal the rest of Shabby's hats).
