Big Brother 11 producers are reportedly
planning to ‘sex up’ the show by sending in a
celebrity ‘cougar’ such as Pamela Anderson.
According to the News of The World, bosses
have decided that BB11 needs ‘attractive
females’ following Rachael and Sunshine’s
evictions – and they plan to put in a ‘sexy older
woman’ to fill the gap.
Former Baywatch actress Anderson, 43, has
apparently been contacted about taking part in
the show and is said to be top of the
producer ’s hitlist.
Other names in the frame include former I’m
A Celebrity contestant Janice Dickinson, 55,
and 46-year-old Brigitte Nielsen, who was a
housemate in Celebrity Big Brother 3.
Anderson is also no stranger to Big Brother,
having appeared as a guest in the Australian
edition in 2008.
The term ‘cougar’ refers to women aged 40 or
over who pursue relationships with younger
men. It came to prominence with the debut of
ABC comedy Cougar Town last year, which
stars Courteney Cox.
A ‘well-placed source’ told the paper: “Pamela
Anderson is one of the world’s most iconic
women. She oozes sex appeal and feistiness.
“If we can manage to get her into the house it
will be a real coup. The boys on the show
won ’t know what’s hit them – and we are
certain it will make great television.
“Whatever happens a female celeb will be
going in the house.”
It’s thought the guest will ‘kidnap’ the male
housemates, before the females perform a
series of tasks to set them free. The source
continued: “Whichever cougar we sign up to
go into the house, you can be sure that it will
liven up proceedings.
“They will be sexy, sassy and brash. Red-
blooded Big Brother fans are in for a real treat.
“We think all our other viewers will be pleased
as sparks are bound to fly – but we’re not sure
that the lads will want to be rescued from our
cougar ’s grasp.”
Earlier, it was rumoured that three new
arrivals will join the housemates during an
extended show on Friday.
