Hollyoaks' new titles now delayed until August 9th at least
 

Pathetic, you never heard EE or Corrie saying "sorry! the new titles arent ready!" In fact, EE and Corrie had them ready way before broadcast, I guess it shows what the production values at Hollyoaks are

They should have filmed them then announced them :rolleyes:

I was reading this earlier and thought the same thing. I've been looking forward to seeing the new titles (Yeah, I know it's sad) I just wished they hadn't announced it when they did.

It becomes more of a let down in the end.

It must be a right nightmare to keep them up to date and then removing people when they leave.. now theres more time for there to be more changes I hope they are a success:).

I'm expecting lazerbeams and explosions the lot for the amount of time it's taking them, from a technical point of view if it's anything like the old titles it shouldn't really take that long as it was just the actors against the green screen with some imposed logos at times and such.

I'm guessing they've delayed them this long due to the ammount of exits as well? Like they might as well introduce the new titles After the next wave of people have left so they aren't constantly chopping and changing it I guess.

They could just take out the exits now, they'll be gone soon enough.

They could I guess but maybe they just wanna wait until the actors have left onscreen?

Daniel Kilkelly on DS says they most likely wont air on Monday, he said they might be shown on the 9th, but that's just guesswork

They're only titles at the end of the day, a bit of fluff. As long as the the show keeps improving that's all that matters. They must have had them done for ages now since I hear the credits will be similar to the old ones and that style of editing doesn't take long. Could they be waiting for more of the new characters to come into it as well? That could be a reason too.

Probably a better reason then waiting for old characters to leave as thinking about it any leaving characters wouldn't have shot anything for the credits.

It's getting silly now, either they have new titles or they don't.

If they are struggling to deal with this, what message does that send out ?
