89%.....Do the maths!!!
Thats a lot of people loving JJ....:joker::joker:

no thats a lot of people hating nathan lol
|
It's a lot of people loving JJ. Outside of hardcore fans I doubt viewers knew who Nathan was, let alone hated him.

People will tire of him eventually.

poor Nathan!
Is that a BB record? |

lol he's not representing OZ. You'd need to be pretty thick to think all Australians are like JJ. I don't think Caoimhe is representative of the Irish. Stereotypes are for the lazy and the stupid.

and wtf has Caoimhe got to do with this thread? |
Or a lot of people hating Nathan.

Do the maths? Erm, it was 89% to evict. At best "the maths" tells us that Nathan was not liked and compared to him the voters are more ambivalent about JJ. If it were a "vote to save" and JJ got 89% then you'd have a good point.

In a head to head, a vote to evict is the same thing as a vote to save. That's what's nice about head to heads...it's harder to fly UTR with two bigger personalities getting the evict votes, like Caohwecmwe did in Week 3. |

That's like saying that Nat's 89% was just made from JJ fans calling because he was up against their favourite, which is preposterous. It's partly true, but his 89% was actually made up of "counter votes" and "hate votes" (which is why Endemol run it like that, to make more money). In a vote to save, Nat's fans would have vote for him and JJ's fans for JJ. |
No Nathan and JJ were the only ones, so JJ lovers had only one thing they could do to save JJ. There's no vote to save so all they could do is vote Nathan. Look, say it was a 3 or 4 up for eviction, Nathan may have gotten the second least votes (if it was against Camomile and Dave I'm sure he would have).
The reason Nathan got so many votes is cos' he was the only other option. |

How is that true? Josie fans could have voted Nathan. Steve fans could have voted Nathan. Not just JJ fans.
|
For sure it's not all JJ fans, and I'm sure some of that 89% were people that hated Nathan. I just think it flies in the face of common sense to think Nathan garnered such overwhelming hatred for cooking and doing nothing 3 weeks then getting in one argument with Shabby. And when you think about who he's up against, the fit guy girls won't give up until finals regardless of behavior, it seems plausible a good number of those were save JJ votes. We'll never really be able to say, but I'm going with common sense.
|
I'ts likely that the "hate" votes would have been from his picking on Ben (you of all people should have got that) coupled with his monumental stupidity in general add that to what you said about him not doing all that much and you have a HM who is hard to relate to. You are right to agree that a portion of votes will have been from JJ fans but "common sense" dictates that his votes would have been universal accross the all fan basses. Your original argument was that a head to head vote to evict situation is the same as "vote to save" situation, which I think we've cleared up that it most definitely isn't.

p.s. all arguments are forgiven for your avatar/sig. |
JJ fans + Shabby fans = Nayfun booted by a massive majority.
