They are his opinions, applicable to his life, he isn't forcing his beliefs on anyone else! ffs there are people criticising him for not being prepared to talk to trouble-making Keeva about his views, whilst others criticise him for talking about them at all. He can't win! Why should he not talk about his views - they are a part of him! It sounds more like religious hatred to me!
