What does 'crab eyes' mean?

i think they say it because jj has small eyes that are close together like a crab.

You'll see it when the camera lingers on him like it did 10 minutes ago. Actually they don't look that bad but he thinks they do!

I don't think there's anything wrong with his face. That said, I haven't seen his ears. ;)
