Did you see her on the video link(that was his mum right) i think i picked that up right, she kinda looked similar to josie, which makes a sense.

yes but i also feel its his mother who has messed with his head and made him the way he is, my guess is that it is a love hate relationship with his mother

The way JJ cuddled up to Josie in the snug last night made me think of a mother and child.
JJ lost his dad in an accident two years ago, perhaps this has made him insecure. Losing a parent suddenly in that way can mess with your head. He is a very angry young man and could possibly benefit from some proffessional help. If Josie reminds him of his mum then that could account for him feeling close to her. I don't think there is anything of a sexual nature in it myself, but I could be way off the mark.

His own mother who was on BBLB via videolink, when asked whether she thought JJ fancied Josie, she said he probably looked on her as a mother figure. I think that's true because I don't get any vibe from JJ that he's sexually attracted to her but sees her as a comfort figure in the house. Josie on the other hand does fancy JJ in that way, but is astute enough to realise that JJ doesn't view her romantically..

She should have punished him more when he was younger. Or hugged him more maybe... Anyway, Freud would say it was her fault he's the way he is, and I tend to agree.

Are you suggesting he has an oedipus complex?

They do say we are subconsciously attracted to people that remind us of our parents, so maybe there is some truth in that.

Actually i think JJ is doing BB to try an understand his parents, maybe try and understand the people from where his dad came from, as he is very relaxed around british people and there can be fair cultural difference between the two countries.
