Big Brother's responsibility...

I think we discussed the other day, what should happen with housemates who go into the diary room and threaten to leave. Generally my opinion is that they should be taken straight out, it would stop people bluffing.

But on the highlights last night I was quite shocked by the way they reacted to John-James.

Whether you think he was just looking for sympathy or not...I think he genuinely was ready to go, but it's only my opinion...I was shocked that after telling him to try and sort things out with Josie, then watching him try and get blazed again before coming back in in pieces again, they still didn't take him out.

They told him that they would get another housemate in - which was Josie.

Then when he said he still wanted to go they refused and told him to go back into the main house.

I think they were taking a risk.

There must be a stage where someone has been in the diary room twice in a matter of a cople of hours, crying and begging to be allowed out, that you have to let them out for safety reasons.

They claimed to be "concerned about his welfare" but didn't act as though they were.

emotions were running high BB did the right thing JJ calmed down and made up with Joise I think if he had left he would have felt terrible about it. He requested Josie in the DR. It worked eventually they talked it out all sorted :D

He obviously wasn't faking it, had they opened the door for him he would have been gone. The JJ/Josie thing is the only thing going on in there right now so I just think they really wanted him to stay in

It's a difficult one is this. He was in the diary room for a couple of hours, and because we don't see the full content of this, it's hard to speculate what else has been said.

I appreciate housemates go in there to quit more than they let on, but most of the time all that is needed is for the housemate to calm down and look at their situation with fresh eyes, hence the 'come back in the morning' feedback.

How many times did BB try and talk to Shabby, she got her way and was able to leave the house, only to say that she regretted her decision in the end, but it was too late.

LMFAO

They can leave there if they really really want to. The BB producers have seen this attention whoring behaviour numerous times. They know when theyre bluffing.

In pieces my ass. Nobody had died. He was being a pussy.

You don't know that for sure, you only saw the edited version.

ah Zippy, they're in a very weird environment in there with a bunch of strangers. Also, they're probably really tired as well, I know I get really snappy and emotional when I haven't had enough sleep. They must all have serious cases of cabin fever right now as well.
