ben wiped the floor with john james.

john james said ben not trying in tasks effects the house and ben responded with what about your temper making people uncorfortamble and all what jj could come up with is contracts.

im still laughing out loud.

Blink_Me 17-07-2010 01:44 AM

I'm not a JJ fan, but he clearly owned Ben in that argument; Ben had some good points, but JJ came out on top.

chauncey 17-07-2010 01:46 AM

The mainstay of JJ's arguing technique is to parrot back what someone has said and say it as a question.Oh and go on and on and on till the other person has to walk away to nourish themselves with food and water(meanwhile JJ is still going on and on)

GiRTh 17-07-2010 01:46 AM

LOL

Not a chance in hell. Who ended the discussion by walking away? Ben. a clear sign he knew he was in the wrong.

chauncey 17-07-2010 01:48 AM

How did he own Ben?,
JJ kept trying to *provezzzzz* ~Ben's not a team player~,and Ben went 'yeah I'm not' and you need mental help to sort your rage.No arguement to be had there, just fact.

no he probably had enough of john james interupting him all the time.

oddballmisfitsFTW 17-07-2010 01:49 AM

Ben should either do the tasks and be a team player

or he should be a true rebel

a true rebel doesnt give a **** and doesnt attempt to defend himself

he is a rubbish rebel and a rubbish team player

he is just dull to listen to if he isnt making funny one liners

JJ and Ben are both boring to listen to

he was given 2 seconds to speak then john james would butt in.

it was lucky ben was able to speak let alone wipe the floor with him in the argument.

skkc16 17-07-2010 02:02 AM

Ben owned jj...he kept repeating that ben was not a team player and ben agreed so there was no argument for him there whereas he said he would work on his temper but how many chances has he had to do that and he hasn't ben was right jj does need a shrink

Novo 17-07-2010 02:12 AM

JJ let him speak but Ben kept waffling. Constantly bringing up JJ aggression which was not the topic to begin with. Ben was changing the subject , waffling and never making a point other than bringing up JJ aggression which its clear the whole house doesn't have that much of a problem with. In the end Ben became patronizing by bringing JJ love of sport and acting like his own interest in politics make him more aware. Ben lost on all levels.

But what arguement did JJ win?:conf:

He kept throwing the team spirit thing at Ben,Ben agreed he didn't have it,then JJ countered this agreement by repeating the team spirit thing over and over,Ben brought up the anger because JJ's repetition is a manefestation of his anger;;if he is angered by someone he grinds them down by constantly picking at them.

At several points they both went quiet and Ben was about to walk away, then JJ had another little dig and it all started up again.JJ is a petty, angry little boy.

Who's he likely to be up against? Probably Corin, Keeva and Keely, he'll slaughter all of them in the public vote.

Its not that JJ won its more that Ben lost. JJ's angry. Theres no doubt about that and I dont like him either. But, in the context of this argument Ben also kept repeating himself and then went to his default patronising position. Ben was more uncomfortable than JJ.

Poor ole Ben, no people skills, and the really scary thing he is the type of person that is running this country.... I think we need to rethink the way people get into the government for all of our sakes....
