Caoimhe Cant Nominate This Week!

Im not sure why, I guess its a punishment for talking about nominations, but Caoimhe cant nominate this week apparently as Mario just said to her on live feed - ''Your alright, you dont have to nominate this week.''

Will this affect who gets put up via nominations? I thought it would be Caoimhe v John James v Keeley, but I think Keeley may escape from it now.

Not sure if anybody else cant nominate either.. but glad to see Big Brother actually dishing out punishments for rule breaks and not ignore them.

If true, it's about time that BB noticed rule breaks, they have ignored all of them up 'til now.

Better punishment would have been, to put her up for nomination, without the chance to take part in the S&R task

BOOSH 19-07-2010 12:38 PM

She should have just nominated and her punishment not being able to do the S&R!!!!
Stupid BB

MissKittyFantastico 19-07-2010 12:39 PM

Should have been straight up for eviction :nono:

stoney 19-07-2010 12:40 PM

they should have had all their food taken off them and returned to basic rations like they have done in the past

It would be interesting to see how JJ and Caoimhe's "friendship" would survive that

Malza 19-07-2010 12:41 PM

I don't think it is a punishment at all, to not be allowed to nominate

DrunkerThanMoses 19-07-2010 12:43 PM

So can ben, jj and dave nominate, there worse then her.

No suprise golden boy ben never is banned

Cumulonimbus 19-07-2010 12:46 PM

If she is up I hope she is out this week.

oddballmisfitsFTW 19-07-2010 12:50 PM

do they nominate today and we find out later this evening who up?

MrGaryy 19-07-2010 12:50 PM

It's ridiculous, they know she's going to be up anyway and they know she's going to throw the S&R task, she's goner even if she could nominate, they should at least have let her have her two nominations. Such double standards on this show, Ben, Dave and Josie have discussed nominations at numerous times but have never been punished because they are the golden geese of the producers.

Zippy 19-07-2010 12:57 PM

Good.

Cow's getting on my last nerve.

Except that JJ never gets punished for discussing noms every five minutes - the little turd.

But he still got to nominate, the give out different punishments for the same rule break in order to secure Caoimhe's eviction this week.

Why should she be punished so harshly?
Not being allowed to nom is the usual punishment.

Most of the hm's have chatted about noms, yesterday Dave, Ben and JJ were in the wasps nest speculating who'd be up. They thought it would be Caoimhe, Keeley and JJ. Speculation is against the rules.

Seems BB is being very selective in who they punish.

Quelle suprise.

Last week we found out who was up 40 mins after the last hm nominated.

Before that, the noms were revealed late afternoon.

fingers 19-07-2010 01:37 PM

Hardly a punishment for her, more like a reward, whoever is up she can't even be remotely blamed.

MrWong 19-07-2010 02:09 PM

Here's BB's rules on noms...

Discussion of Nominations

It is against the rules for housemates to discuss their nominations with each other. This includes:

Any discussion with another housemate that could be interpreted as a deliberate attempt to influence their nominations

Discussing or hinting at who you might nominate in the future or have nominated in previous weeks

Predicting or guessing who may be nominated

Discussing the reasons you might use for nominating someone for eviction

Asking or intimating fellow housemates to nominate you

Writing down or using materials at your disposal to form names, initials or other symbols - this is why the use of pens, pencils or any written communication is strictly against the rules

Any conversation, which Big Brother deems to be a coded discussion or any other method of hidden communication relating to nominations e.g. writing initials with your finger.

To clarify, as housemates, you are free at any time to talk to each other about how you feel about your fellow housemates - what you like and don't like about them – but NOT as part of a discussion about nominations.

It is entirely at Big Brother's discretion to determine whether the nominations rules have been breached and what punishment to bestow.

The predicting who might be up was discussed by Ben, Dave and JJ in the wasps nest yesterday.

No punishment at all.

Callum 19-07-2010 02:21 PM

It's so obvious the producers want her out asap. Twats.

muchadoaboutnothing 19-07-2010 02:46 PM

As a punishment to Caoimhe why didn't BB put all of them up for eviction with two to leave on Friday? At least that way we could get rid of slobbery Steve and Friar Tuck.
