Microsoft Kinect to cost £130
Microsoft has priced its Kinect peripheral.
The motion-sensing camera will cost £129.99 in the UK and €149.99 in Europe, and will come packaged with Kinect Adventures. The firm also revealed its rumoured 4GB Xbox 360, which will adopt the revamped design and feature set of the 250GB model as well as a matt black finish. The system will be available from August 20 for £149.99, and for £249.99 bundled with Kinect when the device is released later in the year. "Kinect for Xbox 360 offers fantastic new ways to be entertained for the whole family," said business vice president Chris Lewis. "With full body, voice and multiplayer play straight out of the box, Kinect is a unique way for everyone to enjoy controller-free fun and entertainment." The Kinect will release alongside 15 launch titles in November. Digital Spy |
so it's basically a really late Wii/Eyetoy?
|
Yeah, it's more advanced than the Eyetoy, and doesnt need a controller Like Move or Wiimote, but basically, yeah, I'm not digging this whole casual gaming thing xD
|
I will not be buying it until they release something other than childrens games for it. It looks a great device for the kids but for adults, it's meh.

They've shot themselves in the foot with the price, It'll definitely bomb now why buy an add-on for that amount when you can get a console for a little bit more?
