Yeah, but it's the REASON he gave for doing so that should make you very very wary of such a weirdo.

Apparently he checks his mates and family members texts and phone calls against things they have said to him, in order to make sure they have told him the ABSOLUTE truth. He plays the messages back and keeps texts for "evidence". If he catches them out in a single fib he NEVER talks to them again! Furthermore, he checks train timetables to make sure a reason someone gave him for being late is true.

The man is a complete psycho.

If I had a friend that behaved like that I'd give them a proper wide berth....that's not 'normal' behaviour. At all.

As I stated last night , he has one BIG psychological problem, even Josie who, as I also said isn't the Brain of Britain champ, told him to seek professional help when he told her all this yesterday.

God forbid a woman he cheats on him, Desperate housewife strangler I'm thinking.

When someone has such a pathological HATRED of liars, as he admitted himself, he/she is liable to become unstable at any time.

He has some mental problems, but I feel sorry for him.

He needs to go see a psychiatrist and sort them out.

He probably does it so he can use them against people in the future in a arguement or something to prove himself right, hes such a twat. :bored:

It makes you wonder what has went on in his life to make him feel so insecure. I feel sorry for him. At the same time it shows that he does speak the truth, it seems that is a major factor in his life.
Its a bit like when we tell our kids, its better to tell the truth than lie, only he takes it to the extreme,I just wonder why? what has happened to you JJ for you to be so distru****l? Who let you down so much?

I'm telling you, I had a friend just like this guy. Same thing.. .. used to record things. Not just calls but using his mobile in his pocket would record conversations.
Same thing too - analyzing them for those 'lies'. Then (like JJ) he'd get himself into mini-wraths trying to reconcile or catch out lies. Because they both have a 'cognitive dissonance' problem (aka definitely not clever) they would become more angry at 'contradictions' (actually their own mind unable to process/reconcile).
Anyways.. yeah its a real bad news thing and its sometimes called 'Schizo-Affective Disorder'.
Basically, its 'schizophrenia lite'. or 'jr' if you wish.

These people are often manageable with meds and therapy and the good news is that sometimes they will phase out of it as they get older and move on with life.
This also reminds me of BB9 Dale who had something like this going on.

Anyways, BB Psych really needs to be keeping an eye on JJ (im sure they are) because the guy is not normal.

JJ records conversations with mates so that he can play them back to them to prove a point.This doesnt suprise me-he is quite clearly in need of psychiastric help.How this wasnt picked up before he got into the house is incredible.
