Roller-skating task!!
 

At last!! Something a bit more like the BB2 we knew and loved!!

The official site has an article about the roller-skating task that was announced this morning. Whena klaxon sounds, all housemates have three minutes to get their helmets and protective gear on and then have to roller-skate on the rink in bedroom 2.

Jade and Kate sound enthusiastic! Tim is whinging again......

..... Jonny is "up for it" and Alex is moaning!

Some things never change!

I've just seen their first go, the klaxon went. I don't know how they got ready in 3 minutes, as Alex spent 5 minutes moaning, but he managed to fit getting ready and 5 minutes moaning into three minutes, quite an achievement!

Jonny and Jade got straight into the rollerdancing, though Jade went over a couple of times but came up laughing. Kate struggled at first but soon got going. Alex and Tim just gently circumnavigated the room looking disinterested, but first Tim, then Alex were persuaded by the others to form a conga.

After the music finished, Tim went to the bedroom, lied down, and cast his superior "what am I doing here" look at the ceiling.

Kate and Alex seem to be the best at it

At last I can now say with total conviction that there's someone out there who looks a lot (by miles!!) more stupid on roller skates than I do.

I believed I was crap, but after seeing tim this morning I'm swanlike in comparrision. :-)

A banked floor wouldn't have gone amiss BB, and it need not have to be that steep either.

And change the bloody helmets they're for cyclists not skaters. It's dangerous to wear the wrong sort of head gear!!!!! also the knee pads look next to useless but atleast something is there I guess.

If you tell them to loosen their boots up, they'll find pushing off and turning a lot lot easier.

None of them are that good, but I can talk, I have never even managed to stand up, even for a moment, in roller skates!

The most noticeable thing is when they come out, Kate and Jade are loving it, Jonny has a thing about one of his skates pulling to one side (maybe his car pulls the other way and he is used to compensating) and guess which two come out with a look on their faces as if to say "this is all beneath me".

This is a good task,shame they all could'nt have been as good :wavey:

It's great I used to go to a Roller Disco in the 80's and skate round and round. Wonder if I could still do it.:elephant::elephant::elephant::dance::dance::da zzler::dazzler:
