Now sorry, but censoring the whole two stars in the 'F Word' was bad enough just as I was starting to take Harry's advice and use stars rather than using italics when swearing.

But now we can't even use forum speak to swear?
It's not even swearing!

I don't get why this is censored, the majority of the time I only say http://i27.tinypic.com/w191lh.png when I'm talking about a housemate or George Lamb, I'm not insulting a FM like.


Stu pointed out months ago about the 'S' word being censored, which was pathetic was we all do it you know 'The S word' so why is it censored?

And then they stopped me from using one * in 'The F Word'

And now this?

What's next to be censored?

So you and Locke have Vicky as the favourite, personally I think James did it, but it may be the dark horse that comes on now and then which means Kaz may of done it or perhaps the big man himself Mark.

I know it's not a swear word although I do see why the mods would possibly want to censor it. From their point of view it probably makes the forum look messy and rude. They want to do all they can to make the forum seem inviting to add new members. Similarly I can see why you're annoyed, but at the end of the day it's down to the mods.

Fair do's I say, but from a members point of view I don't see the problem with using that word :)

So does newbies who can't use a capital letter at the beginning of a sentence in thread titles and their posts and seem to not be aware of the 'No Text Speech' rule that Thomas C referred to the other day.

I actually got a 3 point infraction from James for saying it to somebody last week. Which was funny because A; I was responding to a post where she had told somebody to st fu and B; Ive said it LOTS of times before and not heard a glimmer from any mod.

Consistent moderation is not this sites strongest point. Sigh.

I will say this forum is quite tame compared to a few wrestling forums i'm on, One of which actively promotes swearing which admins of that forum using swearing in the thread titles.
