Unrequited love.

Everyone keeps mentioning the fact that the romance is fake and it will never last so i'm going to say what I feel about Josie and John James' relationship and hopefully you can post your opinions in this thread.

I get the feeling that Josie really does like John James, but he doesn't like her back. I think that he's playing off of the fact that she likes him and leading her on. He said that he researched Big Brother a lot and even though he acts dumb, I think that he's a lot smarter than people think and he knows how to sail through on Big Brother. This is only a thought, quite a lot of the time their relationship does seem quite genuine and lovely, so it's a shame if i'm right because I think that they would make a really good couple.

Most of what you've said is right. But, Josie started out gameplaying the 'romance' too, but then it 'got real' for her, but not for him. However JJ nows sees his odds of winning are greatly improved with a BB romance, so JJ is using Josie now.

They are as bad as each other really.

I was going to mention that aswell, but didn't want to write forever. I think that at the start Josie was using John James a little bit. I think she saw him as a cling on and he kept her safe. Hence the argument they had. But in the past few weeks I think that Josie's fake love has actually turned into something quite genuine and I don't think John James realises that.

Romance is a two-way street - it takes two to tango. What JJ and Josie have is a genuine friendship, and strong affection for each other. Josie may fancy JJ, but JJ doesn't see her in that light. Just because a guy and a girl have a strong affection for one another doesn't mean they have or need a romance ... can't we just let them be friends?

For someone who says she'll look like a fool on national TV, she's dead right !!

On the other hand she could be a total numpty who thinks JJ will respond to her obvious advances OR she is a really skilful game player who realises that if it comes right down to the wire, she'll win hands down over her Aussie psycho!
