Images and error messages

I keep getting errors messages whenever I use this forum. It says the following:

"Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /web/sites/310/thisisbigbrother/www.thisisbigbrother.com/forums/header.php on line 152"

I also cannot see the images used by the forum. This makes it very difficult to use the forum. If it is any help, I have attached a screen shot of the forum as I see it.

i havent had any problems yet :D seems great to me!!!

Mark 29-11-2001 08:22 PM

Thanks for that sja, we had this problem earlier. What page is it you are trying to enter? The main one?
When you signed up did you keep the theme as default? That could be a problem.
If you U2U rboycey (he's the tech admin) he will be able to fix it for you.
On my computer it works fine, maybe try refreshing it as well?

Is it just me or is the board a little too wide I have to constantly scroll across to read messages. Apart from that I am very impreseed with your forum Mark, well done

Mark 30-11-2001 05:49 PM

Peachy it must be your computer. I have a 17" screen with the resolution 800x600 and that is fine!

I'm logged onto my imac at the moment and that monitors fairly small and it's OK on mine as well so I'm not sure.:(

Sara
If you go to 'Control Panels', 'Edit Profile' and change the style from 'Default' to 'xmb2' it should fix this.

Mark,
I wanted to ask you why when I go to post a reply to a post or go into a thread sometimes the black triangles at the side of the screen which enable you to scroll down (you can see how technically minded I am not even knowing what they are called) are missing. I have to press reload to get them to come up, sometimes this doesn't work and I have to go back to the previous screen and try again. Is it my stupid computer or has anyone else complained of the same thing. It only happens here.

Mark 02-01-2002 06:20 PM

Peachy the scroll bar at the side is to do with your Internet Explorer (i take it you mean that) The site, as far as im aware won't affect it. I haven't had any problems with it so it might just your computer...

Hi Mark,

I like your new forum.

Bob has just installed a new forum at bbfans.com for me, which seems to work okay so far, but I've still got a few more things that need sorting out on the site in general. I luv your smilies. :elephant: :colour:

When I get an email, I used to be able to click on the bit at the bottom to get to the site, it doesn't work now. All I get is an error warning or it looks for the site forever and a day and in the end I give up! :conf:

Kaz 20-01-2002 01:16 PM

Hi Janette.

I think the problem is that Mark is still working on updating the main site, so the page is unavailable just now. That's why the link won't work. Hopefully the new site will be launched soon.

In the meantime, going to http://thisisbigbrother.com/forum will take you directly to this forum, bypassing the main site.

Hope this helps. :spin2:

If you receive a link that looks like this:

http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/foru...ead.php?tid=21

..then just put a slash after forum like this:

http://www.thisisbigbrother.com/foru...ead.php?tid=21

...and it should work a treat! :spin2:

Thanks for that Chrsitine, it's an error in one of the files for the forum - now I better look through them all and fiz it!

I will be posting up a message about what's happening with the main site in the next few days..
