What good is Steve?

any funny lines?

any funny moments?

anything good at all?

anyone actually like him in this series?

WOMBAI 28-07-2010 09:13 AM

Yes, I do! He adds a bit of balance from all the shallow, attention-seeking wannabees!

MojoNixon 28-07-2010 09:14 AM

Someone of us do.

Jackie 28-07-2010 09:17 AM

Nothing really they don't know what a housemate is like until they go into bb

Livia 28-07-2010 09:18 AM

I don't mind him. He's not the most interesting or exciting housemate, but he offends me far less than, say... Mario. Or JJ. Or Josie.

Jordan. 28-07-2010 09:20 AM

any funny lines? No

any funny moments? No

anything good at all? No

anyone actually like him in this series? No

Yes there are people who like him - so don't try and speak for everyone!

I much prefer listening to him talk about real life - than listen to that boring twosome JJ/Josie constantly talk about their idiotic' feeling's for each other!

Adult stuff, rather than kids stuff in my book!

setanta 28-07-2010 09:30 AM

He's done nothing, conversed about nothing, related to other people on the most mundane of levels. So yeah, get him out.

Ryan57 28-07-2010 09:39 AM

In one way, I want him to go soon. However, in another way the fact he is a hero makes me feel as though I am being harsh.

Lulzaroonie 28-07-2010 09:57 AM

He was into the music thing, but that was about this. Was good to see him take an interest in something other than lording over everyone else

It is a tragedy about his experience with the bomb, but it was 20 years ago and there are many people who have suffered loss of their limbs and still gone on to do amazing things... what has he done? Had 2 marriages and 8 kids. That's not a result worthy of god-given right to respect.

He has no aspirations with his life, no ambition, little in the way of a sense of humour - he is not devoid of a personality just cos he has no legs we know this cos he has been married twice and had 8 kids (not seen 3 of which for 6 years).

He paints a picture like he is father of the year but he is not setting a good example by rubbing up young girls on national TV. I don't care if his wife claims to not have a problem with it, I do and he should too. He is a parent with a responsibility. He is a disgrace.

I can't even imagine how boring his 'best bits' video is going to look like.

Yeah, the cuddling upto the girls is a little freaky. Was ironic how, after Keeley left he wanted to go.
Ben mentioned in one of the highlight shows Steve had said if any of his children were to go to prison, he wouldn't visit them. Only taking Ben's word for it, however. It wasn't shown in the highlights program.
I'm not sure what to make of that one.

It is in my opinion - he isn't in there for the same self-indulgent, fame seeking reasons as most of the others - but there to promote the cause for injured and disabled ex-soldiers! His reasons are more valid than most of the others, in my book!

Jack_ 28-07-2010 10:44 AM

He's a completely pointless housemate. Nice guy? Yes. A respectable man? Yes. A good Big Brother housemate? Absolutely not.

And anyone that thinks he is is clearly extremely delusional.

AquaShots 28-07-2010 10:44 AM

What is wrong with fame seeking?

Nah. Hey maybe ain't acid poppin rave lunatic, but he is the most genuine guy over there. Good bloke after all. Not unsure about his sexuality just like JJ or fake as mario.

Nothing if you are talented. But none of em are.

Correct, but he is still dull as ****. Genuine/good people generally do not make good TV. See: Rachel Rice.

Exactly - fame is for the talented - not simple idiots who love themselves!
