"useless bimbo", nice way to discribe a young woman.
Anyway, what is it with women getting their t**s out for the lads? even the W.I have done it-twice I think, the difference is that when organisations like the Women's Insitute do it, it's "for charity" so that
seems to make it ok.
I realise other [predominantly male] groups do it too, like the Fire Brigade but when they do it it seems more about showing off their muscles and demonstrating physical strength whereas when women do it it's for male amusement.
Obviously lots of people'll say "it's for the money!" which is probably true but I just see the amounts of money offered as nothing more than a bribe; how much
less money would they do it for?. As far as the W.I are concerned, I don't think they got payed anything, they just did it for the pleasure of knowing how much other people'd benefit from the money raised by selling the pictures as a calendar.
But this raises an interesting point, which is, that if money is the issue, why don't women like Laura try to get well paying jobs instead of selling themselves as comodities for male entertainment?. The sad thing is that today's page 3 "stunna", or nut's "babe" is doomed to be tomorrow's chip paper and that once the novelty of these women wears off as it does even with women who've been in the "glamour industry" for a few years, they become objects of ridicule, spite and malice; a good example of this is Jordan/Katie Price, and all because she got married, got divorced, got married again and her ex had a fight with her future husband.
I don't think Laura is a "useless bimbo", but I
do think she's a very young, immature and nieve (sp) young woman. As a man I'm embarrassed by all the women clambering to take their clothes off for Me. I'd much rather they, along with Lara, enrol in the nearest university and do a degree, then become captains of industry, or a media tycoon, or an inventor, because as the song says "Good work is the key to good fortune".
Ok, feminist rant over. :)
