What Would/Wouldn't You Do For £1 million
 

During an after hours drinking sesh at the pub I work in, we got talking about what we would (or wouldn't do) do for a million pounds.

I said I definitely wouldn't kill anyone, hurt anyone or smuggle drugs.. My boss said he would do absolutely anything, including killing people!! I asked if he could kill me and he said yes! :hugesmile: I laughed my head off but I think he was actually serious! :shocked:

Anyway.. what would you lot do for a million pounds?

The first thing that we discussed was; Would you walk down your local High Street naked?


Please note, this isn't a serious thread.. don't want to discuss greed or how money can't buy happiness etc.. Just genuine light hearted banter :D

Some of the punters at the Glen probably have a mill lying somewhere Lee - ask them what you'd have to do :joker:

I wouldn't go out naked, or do anything sexual. And I couldn't hurt or kill anyone. I guess money doesn't motivate me, I don't have hardly any at the moment and I'm very happy with my life.

Although I would like to travel more and a million would certainly help, as to what I'd do for it. I guess I'd work everyday for a year in some job I'd hate. And I really dislike people or dealing with people. So some job that had me interacting with the public would be the most extreme thing I can thing of.

I guess that's it, I mean I wouldn't face any of my fears for money, either.

I said no way immediately to walking down the high street naked, but then someone said if there was a suitcase with a million pounds in it and all you had to do was walk from one end to the other and pick up the suitcase.. I thought about it and decided of course I would! I would have enough money to bugger off somewhere sunny and never have to face anybody who had seen me do it again..
My sister said she wouldn' but would maybe sit in a shop window for an hour or something (?) as opposed to walking down the street as the "wobble factor" would not then be present :laugh:

I think it would be all over youtube though, so you'd never really escape from it.

Ok, well lets say for arguments sake that nobody would be allowed to film you or take photos etc!

I would live in the BB house for a year for the million.

It would have to be a lot more than a mill for me to walk naked down any town, especially my own. Can I wear a brown paper bag over my head? lol And where is the money like? Always thought that was weird about these for a million pound questions - I want to see it before everybody else sees me, if you know what I mean?

Anyway yeah, it would have to be more than a million and then I'd have a plane waiting afterwards to fly me off somewhere.

Yeah, but that's what I'm saying... if you physically saw the million pounds in a suitcase and it was there waiting for you at the end.. I actually think there are very few people who would refuse if this scenario were real..

And no a brown paper bag is cheating!! :D

I already have a million. Several to be infact. ;););)

Knowing my luck a few of my ex's would be out that day and know who I am even with the brown paper bag anyway. :hugesmile:

Oh, I'd want the money in a back pack and strapped onto me while I sprint down the main street. Can you sprint or do you have to walk? Trot along like it's the most natural thing in the world to do?

Probably not a lot.

Not because money doesn't motivate me, but because hardly anything motivates me.

Preferably with others.. but I would try and do it on my own. Probably be too easy with others..

And does it have to be at a certain time of the day? I mean my main street is bloody packed during working hours.

They should do a show on it.... I'd say they have in Japan already. Those people have the weirdest things on telly.

I don't think I'd walk down my local high street naked; because there are always charity workers standing there who try to stop you and make you give them money - can you imagine the mayhem if they knew why I was walking down my local high street naked? Pffff.


That, and I'm mortified by the thought of public nudity.

We used to discuss this at school all the time, trying to come up with the most rotten things that you would or would not do for a million.

I just thought of something I wouldnt do actually...kill any of my family. Not for any amount of money.
