Anyone else is tired of new housemates coming in?

Quite frankly I don't even see a point in that  Why do they keep on sending new housemates, replacements, etc instead of actually creating some twists with the existing ones  ... or bringing new people through twists, secret rooms, houses, etc  not just standard walking down the stairs and then all they do is just sit on the sofa or lie in bed

LaLaLand 30-07-2010 04:58 PM

Kind of yeah but Sam should be the last. I'm glad he's going in though he's disliked already in the house so who knows what will happen!

Vicky. 30-07-2010 04:59 PM

The amount of newbies this year has just been silly.

Zippy 30-07-2010 05:00 PM

Theyre just such weak asslickers. JJ2 being the worst. Just a JJ mini me.

Andrews the only unique one. He's been a revelation with his darkside. Hehe.

We have not had as many housemates and newbies this year as BB7 and BB8 they had the most

Totally agree and puting one in now just seems silly as they only have 3weeks (i think correct me if im wrong) left and still have the all star thing to do.

Maia 30-07-2010 05:03 PM

There's also been a lot of walkers, the same amount as BB10. Sam will be the last newbie though, and hopefully he won't let us down.

opera 30-07-2010 05:04 PM

yeah i'm hoping something good will happen out of it [ bringing him in] , but it's not even interesting the way they come in (well maybe apart from the andy group) - it's like no twists at all. it's like a real replacement.

one out - oh ok, let's replace, who's available ? megan, can you do it ? oh no, you are on the beach ? alrighty then, byeeeee.....who else was on the list ? sam ? ok, sam ? what's up ? how you doing ? you see laura's gone, do you wanna be housemate No 58392 ? ok see you.....

so true. such an arselicker. i wanted to post it in my original post but couldn't find the right smiley. anyone else knows how to ? (i've seen people using it)

setanta 30-07-2010 05:07 PM

I'm just hoping that the BB producers have fooled us all into thinking that these are the real housemates and that there's another complex with the proper contestants about to be revealed soon.

Boring bunch this year, and it hasn't been helped by a disappointing group of new additions.

The newbies are atrocious. Surely you should throw strong personalities in to shake up the house?

So far its been bland after bland who make no difference whatsoever. Besides Andrew, of course. Bless him.

Josielover 30-07-2010 05:42 PM

I thought the first three housemates going in was a good idea. It was early enough in the show for them to warrant going in. I wasn't as keen on the next 3 that went in, and I thought that because they had gone in so late they should have been able to nominate/be nominated. Now with another new person going in i think it's stupid. It's way too late to put someone new in especially if that person is going to be immune from nominations for the first week. It's basically a ticket to the final for them.

pixee 30-07-2010 05:49 PM

Kind of am but i will defend the producers here, if that many people walk it isn't your fault.

Shabby's job is sitting in a house and she couldn't manage to do it on BB so what chance have they got in knowing whether they will get more than one walkout?

BUT THEY DON'T HAVE TO SUBSTITUTE. alright they walk out, so what - let them go. create twists with others who are still there. it's like 3 weeks left and we've got 11 people even after the eviction , it's not as if they don't have enough people - they should create exciting situations not simply bring in new housemates. it's so boring, i can't stand watching jjj and now jjjjj

Yeah it is a fair point you make.

But the show has a schedule in the channel 4 timetable which it won't be allowed to change. It has to fill so many weeks and maybe they think they need a certain quota to do that.

Btw it isn't the new HM's that are boring it is currently ALL HM's.

opera 30-07-2010 06:12 PM

yes it's not just new. i guess when there is nothing to do, they all feel  but then they should give andrew more tasks like the monday's . that wasnt bad.

Yeah they could give more tasks.

But the producers seem frightened of confrontations nowadays.

InOne 30-07-2010 06:16 PM

Keeley could've been great. Andrew isn't too bad. All the other newbies and been appauling

opera 30-07-2010 06:20 PM

well keeley's gone and they felt the urge not only to substitute her but to cancel the eviction as well ! we could've gotten rid of rachel grrrrrrr.....

i thought andy was great, i wouldn't be able to do this task. was it dave who asked him :

- why are you rolling on the floor ?
- just exercising ...

STRONGLY AGREE!

There should NEVER be any new HMs entering that house after Day One and the last original is in and doors locked.

IF they insist on doing this (to replace quitters) then MAYBE you do that very early on.

Bringing in groups of three halfway through.. then bringing in another new one.
What is the point of BB anymore?
Its just the 'Summer Rotation Party' series where we just keep rotating different people.

Here is one bad result:
Remember that BB11 House? The BB11ers? Remember how we go to know them almost like a family?
No.
No I don't because there is no 'BB11 Family' or group of friends but rather it was an Open-House where many different people came and went at different times.

Anyways.. /rant.
Agreed.. this is bogus.

Stacey. 30-07-2010 06:26 PM

No I love it when new housemates go in.

Feels exciting and fresh.
