The funniest big brother moment ever...

Tim in the diary room!! How funny was that!! "Comprende". I started pis*ing myself when he refused to leave the room and then said... "This is descrimination against people with deficiencies"! Oh god, that's just funny! Has anyone got a transcript.

Romantic Old Bird 17-07-2002 10:10 PM

I DON'T KNOW IF IT'S THE FUNNIEST EVER, BUT IT IS A COMPLETE CLASSIC!!!

YOU CAN JUST IMAGINE THE CREW AND THE DUTY PRODUCER ATTEMPTING NOT TO BURST OUT LAUGHING!

As I have said elsewhere, the man is a complete and utter ****!

Sorry!

Oldgit 17-07-2002 10:18 PM

He obviously hates being in the house, so keep him in! If he beats Alex, we will be able to see how arrogant he really is, and then on the last day we can bring him down to earth when he leaves the house first with just 2 votes (that's if his Mum and Dad -- sorry -- Mater and Pater can be bothered).

Comprende?

Loved graeme Norton's mickey take of this whole scenario!

My question: How can a chap soooo young be sooo pompous at such a young age??? (that show's my age then.....)

No, Oldgit.

The simple reason being that he does not deserve to be there especially after his inexcusable behaviour in the diary room tonight. :nono:

I worked in shops were we've had people like him, I felt that any minute he was going to issue a writ against bb. He's just being a complete sad idiot. a lost victorian breed, what a waste for the other worthy entertaining people who missed out on getting onto the house.:conf:I wish we could get rid of both Tim and Alex, they've both been a complete waste of space, more so than ever this week. The last pathetic relics of the type of people who thought they could run this country. Hurray for Europe that's all I can say.:dance::elephant::elephant:In other words a right pair of snobs.:devil:

I dont understand wot Tim was moaning about???

He knew they had to be on call for the task till 1am, so if he knew he wouldnt be able to participate once he'd taken his contact lenses out, he should have left them in til 1am! DOH!

Or he could have a pair or specs to put on quickly, but he's probably far to vain! Wait a minute wot am I talking about, theres no 'probably' about it! Lol!

I wear glasses and, if I weren’t wearing them or contact lenses, I wouldn't want to get on roller skates, especially if I wasn't very good at it. There is a difference between that and simply walking to the diary room, I think. I suppose it depends how shortsighted he is.

Any optician will tell you it's not good practise to leave contact lenses in while you are sleeping and Tim probably would not have had enough time to put them in and prepare for the task. Does that mean that if all the housemates go to bed at 11:00 pm, Tim has to stay up until 1:00 am? That makes me think that Big Brother has set him up to either to fall around on roller skates unsighted, or he has been set up to be the villain of the piece who fails the task.

As for his diary room performance, yes it was over-the-top, but people have lost their tempers in there before. Jonny spoke about doing that a week or two ago but, of course, it wasn't shown. Channel 4 has decided Tim is to be the hate figure of Big Brother - the sacrificial lamb at the altar of high ratings. The bit where he is supposed to have lied to others had editing written all over it - he probably told the others he was only joking later on.

Since learning that he is unpopular, Tim has developed a siege mentality, hating everything to do with Big Brother, wishing it would end and will probably end up wishing he had never applied in the first place. He knows there is nothing he can do to make himself popular, so he has given up completely.

And in my opinion, Graham Norton would have more credibility if he employed people to write jokes for his monologues that were actually funny. All I saw was a sneering and snobbish (the very things he accuses Tim of being) celebrity in the pulpit of his television show vilifying the lesser mortal that he sees a Big Brother contestant to be.

I’m sorry if all this seems antagonistic but it’s just my opinion.

I thought it was funny

Tim sat in the diary room, he looked like a prat

And then he lied to the others, i couldnt beileve it,what would have happened if they failed it.

I want Tim to go now, he is driving me mad

Tim should have had a pair of glasses with him in the house. What would happen if he were to lose one of the lenses, or get an eye infection? Anyone with contacts should have a pair of glasses, especially if they are legally blind without corrective lenses.

Another point, he should have stayed up until 1am. So what if the housemates went to bed? If he didn't want to have a little nap with his lenses in he should have stayed up. It's not like he would have had to stay up all night.

I used to wear contact lenses, just the ordinary kind, not the disposables you wear for weeks at a time, and once in a while I would sleep with them in. Not very often, but it doesn't hurt to sleep with them in once in a while. Doing it all the time is not recommended. If he had given them an extra clean earlier in the evening, he would have been ok to sleep for a couple of hours with them in. Then at 1am he could have taken them out.
Another thing, he said it takes him 5 minutes to put his lenses in.
He's obviously very slow at putting them in. It never took me 5 minutes to put my lenses in. I'll grant you that he never would have had time to put the lenses in and get his gear on in time, but 5 minutes for lenses? Sounds like an excuse to me!

My theory is that he just wanted to get out of the task as much as he could and thought the lenses were the perfect excuse. That's all there was to it. He could have prepared ahead of time (either staying up, giving them a clean and having a short nap), but no, it was just him throwing his weight around. He thought the lenses would be the perfect excuse, and when BB said his absenses were going to count against them in the task, he got all p***** off and said they were discriminating against him. What a bunch of BS!

I'm sorry, but there is no way BB should have let him off if they did. This is someone who is too used to getting his own way.
He needs to be knocked down a couple of pegs.

Tim needs to realise he can't have his own way all the time :spin2:
I thought he made himself look like a complete idiot

Amy
