Save and Replace - wrong move to pick Josie

being serious for a minute.

With the save and replace task going on today allot of people are predicting who will put up who should they win.

Many are speculating (or hoping) that Mario may put up Josie if he wins as he nominated her

The more I think about it the more I believe that nobody would select Josie in this situation (bar Sam maybe). We saw last week that Steve picked Andrew as opposed to Josie even though he had nominated Josie on the Monday.

The fact of the matter is that if someone did pick Josie and she survived you would be guarenteed to be nominated by Josie, John James, and probably Andrew the following week. Three nominations is enough to see someone up, so therefore surely it makes sense to take the easy way out (as Steve did) and pick someone else ?

Thoughts ?

Good point, plus she'd make their life a misery for the rest of the duration

If Mario wins, he'll choose Josie and no I think it's a good move.

smudgie 03-08-2010 11:52 AM

I did thinkJosie. But after reading ypur post I have changed my mind to Jo
.Easy target.

DrunkerThanMoses 03-08-2010 11:52 AM

Plus if he does put up Joise, it would mean Rachel is deff out

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 03-08-2010 11:53 AM

If he picks her I will reach into my savings to vote for her over and over again. so he better pick her if he wins.

seanraff07 03-08-2010 11:54 AM

I think it's got to be either Jo or Josie.

If say, JJ put Jo up i think it would be a very tight eviction.

apparently he just told John James he won't put her up if he wins. Smart move by him, it may make John James try that little less

I think you could be right. I think Jo Dave and Steve are the obvious targets.

Jo isn't overly close with anyone whilst Dave and Steve have won the save and replace previously so can't get annoyed about being picked without looking bad to the public

BB_Eye 03-08-2010 12:09 PM

I think it will be Dave, but hope to God they will pick Steve. I would be over the moon.

u_drunk 03-08-2010 12:11 PM

If John James and Josie are up together the other person hasnt a hope of staying!!!

Showstopper 03-08-2010 12:11 PM

I think Daves had a strong week and he seems to have got on with everyone. I could maybe see Mario putting him up, but not John James or Rachel

newspresenter 03-08-2010 12:16 PM

Jo is a cert, because she's the newest who isn't the most loved.

BigBrotherfan4ever 03-08-2010 12:20 PM

I hope Dave goes up.

KERRYJ 03-08-2010 12:22 PM

I think out of any of them a newbie would be picked none of the old hms are going to pick anyone who has been there for the duration that would be seen as treasonous so its down to Andrew or Jo and seeing as it was Andrew last week I think they will pick JO.

If Dave went up he wouldn't go

Showstopper 03-08-2010 12:24 PM

I think the fact that they have to nominate in front of people changes the game completely - Newbies and people unlikely to hold a grudge are prime canditates.

Its why I'm now 100% convinced it won't be Josie regardless

ashybe 03-08-2010 12:28 PM

I love john james but wouldn't it be funny if he put up josie although Iknow he won't

Beso 03-08-2010 12:33 PM

Just reading that makes me want to punch my cat across the room.

fizzy 03-08-2010 12:37 PM

Dave or Josie depending on who wins

Would you agree that from a tactical point of view it would make sense not to pick her (even if it does endanger your cat)

Showstopper 03-08-2010 03:58 PM

*SPOILER ALERT*

Was I right or was I right - it seems that many HM's will not select HM's with perceived power in the house such as Josie or Steve irrespective of who they nominated two days ago in private.

Dave got 0 nominations but Mario nominated him as he has put up people himself in save and replace and can't justifiably get angry because of it. Also because of his personality and religion its probably not in his nature to hold a grudge

yellowzebra8 03-08-2010 04:03 PM

They all think that Josie has a lot of fans and is very popular on the outside as all the newbies have gravitated towards her. By putting Josie up they will think that they are going to upset the majority of the public and be evicted next time they face eviction. Josie is probably the safest person in the house right now (even safer than Steve) so I believe that she will make the final week, and quite rightly too.
None of them are stupid in there.

Agree she is safe in their but I think they are more worried about peoples reaction within the house.

For the public nominating in private would anger them just as much as it would in front of everyone.
