LOL. I doubt Mario even fancied Ben. I think he was just playing up to his VT profile when he promised he would chase after guys in the house. Ben was an easy target and it did seem a bit sudden and forced.

They often feel the need to fulfill their VT promises.

Mario just wanted Ben so bad, that when Ben was so on/off with him all the time, going round different people, he just gave up really. Ben was horrible about Mario constantly, and Mario never had a bad word to say about him in the beginning. Ben was playing him a bit, then backstabbing him literally straight after they'd been cuddling or something.
