Traci and Faria - support lost

After tonights highlights before Faria's eviction, i personally, have lost total support for both Faria and Traci after there unjustified slag off of the British public for being racist.
I was warming to Traci was aswell, and shes just lost my support completely, how she can call this country racist i do not know, Traci to go next - shes hacked me off big time.
I think Dennis was quite right to stand up for himself against both Traci and Faria, and my estimations of him have now rocketed.
What does everyone else think?

I am not sure that Traci actually did anything wrong! she repeated a conversation and being abit ditzy she got it wrong! she was only the bearer of the news not the one who started it all!

wasnt she arguing with Michael about it though :conf:

yup.......don't mind 12 rounds.....but keep it clean....comment...below the belt.......

I think Dennis was agreeing with Faria. Im prob the only 1 that thinks this but i think the story he made up about adding a differnt colour to the flavouring was made up! He just didn't want to get involved in the situation

True 'rocks' but then Farias comment was horrendous. The thread about this on page 2 of the forum started by Coltrane and now unfortunatley locked is well worth looking at and happened as the events unfolded.

Traci didnt do anything wrong she just misunderstood what was said and was only asking a question. Maggot and Preston and the rest of them were all mean to her.

It was an extraordinary outburst and a sweeping statement with no basis of truth which is deeply offensive to British people. She has completely lost my respect, not that she had much to start with, because she was using her ethnicity to get the sympathy vote and to make white British people feel guilty and it completely backfired on her spectacularly.

PLEASE PEOPLE!!!
Traci is undoubtedly an airhead and ditz but she did NOT start the outburst.
She was genuinely shocked (yes, I said she's an airhead) by this new idea that being black and American might put her at a disadvantage. Her childlike reaction was to air this with the rest of the house.
Faria's point wasn't unreasonable - being black never usually wins votes on these things - its always despite being black that people are liked and as soon as they put a foot wrong they are annihilated- unlike a character like PRESTON where everybody will run to make excuses for any mistake he makes.
The fact that the very mention of the subject causes such a vitriolic response in itself speaks volumes.
Don't scapegoat Traci - she's too easy a target!

I thought Faria was to blame for the whole thing. Her comments were completely out of order. Traci just repeated what she had heard; she got a bit mixed up, but that's all. I don't think she meant to cause trouble, just wanted to find out if what Faria had said could be right.

I think Dennis did mean what he said when he said that he had been put in to add colour to the house - I took it to mean he was there to add 'spice' or 'charisma', and I don't believe he was referring to his skin colour. I honestly don't think Dennis is afraid of saying what he thinks to anybody in that house.

Also, I noticed that everybody was having a go at Traci and Dennis when they thought that they had made the comments which were actually made by Faria, but when Faria explained and said that it was actually her who made the comments, nobody apologised to Dennis or Traci, and nobody was prepared to say to Faria what they had been saying about Dennis or Traci.

:shocked:Traci didn't do a thing rong. She repeated a convo and obviously she doesn't well didn't think that bcos she said that she thought she had a chance of winning. Traci just asked a question but everyone seemed to blame her. She done nothing atall rong IMO.

So what about Pete's statements about Traci being American and how her culture this and her culture that?

And Pete and Michael's bitching about Americans?

Amazing how some miss these things, but always notice when their culture is being discussed.

Branding an entire nation racist and making reference to the idiosyncrasies of another have no coherent link whatsoever.
