E4 can repeat this more than "Friends"; I love it.

Yeah, best show to come out in years, easy.

Agree, I didn't like it at first but I do now, it's definitely a grower.

And it's new, not like Friends. It's bang up to date. On air about 2 years, series 4 (I think) is in the can but not yet aired. Sheldon is 38 in real life. How's about that then? Penny's 25 in rl. She's gorgeous, (as Max would say in Hart To Hart). It's so cleverly written, much better than Friends, which I could never abide.

I think it's possibly the best sitcom ever to come out of the States, right up there with Frasier, (so far).

It is pretty good really. And I loved the girl who plays Penny in 8 Simple Rules :love:

Yep and its not a yank take on a brit sitcom either.

I like 2 and a Half Men too. (Charlie Sheen's on a million dollars an episode). Yank comedies are written by teams of writers, I believe. I like The King Of Queens too, Jerry Stiller (Ben's dad) just steals the show.

American sitcoms, (and I never thought I'd say this), are better than British ones, currently.

I hate anything with a laugh track. I'm not much of a fan of most American comedies, a bit too obvious for my taste but I do like Modern Family.

it's an entirely predictable premise. nerdy people say nerdy things. normal people don't get it. big laugh. not.

i like it.

Great show.... Sheldon is the best character.

I just watched abit of this because I couldn't be ******ed getting up after BBLB.. The guy's mum was so funny :joker:

Jim Parsons (Sheldon) has just won an Emmy for the Big Bang Theory :dance:

Didnt like the show when it first came out but dont miss it now

I really like The Big Bang Theory, season 4 starts airing in the US on 23rd September, I believe
