The swear filter
 

To be honest, I think you've set the forums swear filter to be far too strict. They're usually used for forums where people under the age of about 13 will be reading but this is a BB forum, I'm pretty sure BB viewers can handle a few "bad words". Plus, it's pretty annoying to see some peoples post and threads littered with ******.

Is there any chance of easing up on it a little?

They wont take words off the swear filter because members on the forum don't just swear in normal speech, they use it for insults which I think is the main reason we have a swear filter in the first place.

We need those words though, for example; it is hygienic to clean your asshole, many Scottish people are caber tossers, I was having a right bitch about her, I'm going to ***** my new clothes out, I like to slag people off and... I am a slut.

I'm tempted to post all the words that aren't censored that I'm surprised aren't, but I won't bother, because they'll just be censored then.

I hope in September, Mark just comes on here and is like 'I'm closing this place down cbf with it anymore'

And we all have like a day to say goodbye, I'd just make a thread in italics and write every swear word I have ever said on these forums, I swear it'd give The Admins and a few mods a heart attack.

Again, days later and still no reply, why am I not surprised? Another ridiculous addition to the list - B U G G E R. Even if somebody took it's original meaning how could that be deemed offensive?

Kaz is kinda pointless tbf and never even comes on.

James is hardly on and comes on a few times a week I think to give infractions and moderate.


I think the Admins need replaced or more needs added.

Over on the forum I am a moderator on, the original owners are passing on ownership and governance of that forum to the moderators
