24-year-old John still lives at home with his mum but has his own independence after his dad built him his own granny flat. John hasn't worked since his father was killed in an industrial accident and he inherited some money.

He claims to be laid back but very opinionated and can be single minded when pushed on certain topics and morals. He says he is very likeable and chatty and loyal to his friends.

At the age of 20 he changed his name to Achilles, Chills to his friends, but he soon changed it back. John believes he's very persuasive and good with words which means he can convince people to come round to his way of thinking. He likes to think he looks like David Beckham because he's a good looking bloke and he takes care of his appearance, using an anti-aging light to stop wrinkles so he can keep hold of his looks.

He is single - mainly because he thinks all girls are too much work. He doesn't mind that he's single and doesn't have a problem getting with the ladies but he knows looks only get you so far and you need a personality as well. To him, sex means 'making myself feel better'.

John admits he will do anything it takes to win the show and believes he'll be a good asset to the house as he'd be funny and argumentative. His dream would be to have daring people and hot girls in the house with him.

Two victims together then, he and Josie. His relationship with woman and approach to sex could do with a bit of exploring, some deep seated issues I fear.

He only changed his name back FROM Achilles because they wouldn't give him a Passport to visit Britain for BB, and BTW didn't he make fun of Sunshine for changing her name?? :joker:

Nope. 24 male and straight. I like John James because he keeps it real and isn't afraid to speak his mind. The same reasons why I like Sam.

I read this about 6 weeks ago and it only confirms to me what a loser he is. I remember he took the piss out of Sunshine for changing her name, yet called himself Achilles! He needs to be reminded of his Greek mythology that everyone has their Achilles heel, and his is his uncontrollable arrogance.:wink:

Sunshine hasn't changed her name legally. She just gets called that.

john james may have a british passport but he has always lived in australia and is australian through and though. he must of applied and got knocked back from the aussie bb and has came over here. i can't believe how british people would want him to win after taking a place off one of their own..we have enough with the footballers and the job market and now they take our gameshows..beggers belief

All the bad things a person can have in the main as to their personality. actually this has made me dislike him more, you would think the tragic loss of his Father would have humbled him and make him respect people and their lives more, clearly it hasn't.

In fact all the post does is re-inforce his arrogant and very rude and dubiously opinionated character.

As he didn't get his wish for 'hot girls' - he had to lower his standards and play 'lovers' with most desperate one in there! All in the name of winning the game!
