EntertainmentTVLatest News.TV Feed.Big Brother's John James is defended by his mum

Big Brother housemate John James's mother Helena has defended her son. She insists that it is unusual for him to get so wound up.

Big Brother housemate John James's mother Helena has defended her son. She insists that it is unusual for him to get so wound up.

The Australian looks like he enjoys a good argument and has had verbal spats with most housemates.

He rowed with David for giving out different portions of gruel during the Dickens task this week.

Helena, who lives in Melbourne, told Now magazine: "John James is not argumentative unless he has a reason.

"I think something is going on under the surface."

The 24-year-old was obviously annoyed at having to dress up as a bride for the second time.

As his part of the task he was dressed as Miss Haversham and was to be locked in a room with Rachel for 24 hours.

Helena added: "I think he is fed up with the bitching and backstabbing, that's what's pushing his buttons."

And he isn't the main bitcher and backstabber in there? Its okay as a mother to defend your son but don't try and blame others for his rude, arrogant, moody and nasty behaviour. Thats his own doing, he could be a grown man and deal with it like an adult and not like a spoilt bratty child.

He was the only one kicking off in the task and being two face and bitching the others tried to get on with it until he kept causing arguments and putting a downer on it. :joker:

Hmmph she just made a fool if herself tbh, john admitted himself he loves arguing

as90 08-08-2010 11:08 AM

I think he was expecting a different group of HMs more like the previous years, yet he's lumped in with a bunch of "weird units" as he said. So it must be tough living with people you don't like, i know it would drive me mad.

No I wouldn't be jumping with joy every day. But like any sane person I would not be picking an argument with someone for no reason just because I am in a mood thats childish and pathetic!

His mother sounds more thick and unintelligent than he does, and THAT is saying something. DAMN!

poejoe 08-08-2010 11:30 AM

BJ 08-08-2010 11:31 AM

He was saying on LF last night he's disappointed Leanne didn't get in. He really liked her. Does anyone have a pic of her. I somehow doubt she's a Josie lookalike

She's being defensive because she is to blame for his upbringing, and if she's turned him into a spoilt, brattish mummy's boy, it's all down to her.

Yes its a pity she can't see that instead of trying to blame the hms. Shes the type of mother that has an excuse for everything her son does but doesn't accept the behaviour in others.

Jackie 08-08-2010 04:56 PM

I think jjs just showing off

joeysteele 08-08-2010 04:59 PM

Jordan. 08-08-2010 05:08 PM

Im fed up of seeing these stories now about Johns mum defending everything he does.

stoney 08-08-2010 05:30 PM

she is just confirming that he is a rich little spoilt mummy'e boy:cat:

Vicky. 08-08-2010 05:32 PM

Shes hardly made a fool of herself.

People often act differently around their parents, trying to make out they are a better person than they actually are.

True. And if a Mum cant defend their child then who can?

However, in that VT thing she did she did warn him not to eff up with just a short time to go(like he was going for gold!). So she does have some idea of his volatility Im damn sure.

fizzy 08-08-2010 06:34 PM

GO Helena! Tell 'em straight
