When did you first realise that John James was a liar, coward, or a hypocrite?

For me it was when he misrepresented what Ben had said to him about Shabby. Ben had remarked that he was only being loyal to his friend, unlike the odious Shabby.

Skippy then goes hopping off to Shabby and competely reinvents the conversation, making no account of how he had been goading Ben, prompting Ben to say what he did.

Skippy then chooses to be "honest" and "real", by saying nothing during Shabby's rant, yet his face betrayed how he felt about his betrayal of Ben. To cap it all, he hypocritically apologises to Ben for telling Shabby.

It was then, that I realised just how low and contemptible skippy is. All his actions and behaviour since then has only confirmed ny view of his low nature.

So when was the moment that you realised, just how "real" skippy is?

:joker::xyxwave:Exactly the moment for me too and when he chastised Ben just for getting Rachael a glass of water!!! he didn't want people too talk to her etc just because he did not like her,and Ben being Ben did, lol:joker:

I can remember actually liking him until his unreasonable behaviour at the dining table, when he went off on one about magazine deals. That came from nowhere, just like most of his innapropriate and spontaneous rants do.

Chosu 09-08-2010 04:05 PM

When he started making fun of Rachel because of the face she makes. Although for the past few days everytime they showed his face on camera he had his brooding scowl face on. From there he just snowballed into the hypocritical POS he is now.

Jords 09-08-2010 04:07 PM

Week 1 - when he continually picked on Rachael after claiming he didnt like 'stunning' girls.

But from launch I thought he'd be dodgey the way he said straight away he wouldnt win because he was Australian, wool.over.our.eyes.jobby.

me too,I actually posted positively about him, can't believe it looking back.

From the time that he started his vitriolic campaign against Rachael!
Whom afterall had done 'nothing' to deserve such treatment!
In-fact her only fault was that she decided to play the mistreated victim...turning on the waterworks, and going for the sympathy-vote instead of just telling the tosser where to go!....The public are sick of victims!
But, that is when the old Crabby showed his true 'ruthless, yet cowardly' gameplan!!
Pity Nathan did'nt chime up in her defence!...Would have scored him a lot of browny-points with 'the great british public', and it would have been 'satisfying' to see 'the australian bully' back-down in a massive sulk-session in the diary-room!!

Omah 09-08-2010 04:31 PM

At the same time as when I thought he was gay - about day 3

To me, either his ignorance of or denial of his apparent sexuality meant another tick in the "negative" column ..... ;)

When the Havisham thing started.

Week 1 and his treatment of rachel

fitz2k2 09-08-2010 05:16 PM

I say give or take the whole thing with thunder. he showed his true colors last week

flamingGalah! 09-08-2010 05:23 PM

His vile treatment of Rachael, hated him from then on...

Captain.Remy 09-08-2010 05:46 PM

Day 4/5 when he ganged up on Rachel for no apparent reason.

Zippy 09-08-2010 06:13 PM

LOL. Ive lost sight of how many times Ive cringed at his vile behaviour. His hypocrisies and blatant contradictions. The way he targets HMs is really creepy and desperate. Sad he has to bring others down to advance his own cause.

He's so obsessed with others behaviou..why? Coz theyre his competition, thats why.

sneaky sh it. So tired of him in there at this point.

I think that just shows how fair minded most of us are. It's only when you see the nasty side of a cretin like skippy, that you can very quickly change your opinion of them.

There is nothing he has done or said which shows him in a better light than the nasty and twisted person he truly is. By his own actions and personality, he shows himself to be the shallow, lying, scumball that he's always been

stonedape 09-08-2010 10:05 PM

His chastising Rachel for her sour looks when he made/makes at least 4x as many. That level of lack in self awareness = instant  I've been a fan since early on, and I've never been under any pretensions that JJ is a nice/polite/perfect person.

Chuckyegg 09-08-2010 10:09 PM

I really can't think of anyone who isnt a liar coward or hypocrite....inside or outside the BB house.

I think that's exactly how skippy drones on so much about other people having toprove to him that they are being truthful and consistent because he realises that is exactly what he is, a liar, hypocrite and coward, therefore everyone else must be the same.

Thank God, that most of us do not live in the same murky, sleezy and immoral environment that skippy does and can recognise a lying scumball when they see one.

THE WATCHER 09-08-2010 10:40 PM

As soon as he entered the house!!

but can you at least concede that if everyone in the house was an upstanding honest moral person with no flaws, the show would be a complete failure, hence those with problems drive the series?

I have no problem separating the immorality I enjoy watching on BB, video games or movies from the morality I enjoy practicing IRL...what worries me is people who think decisions made on a reality show are somehow correlated to our morality on the outside.

Andrew is an interesting character, partly defined by his intelligence and limited life experience

Dave is no doubt lost somewhere between his real belief in his God/cult and his obvious selfishness and self regard

Mario has many facets, there's elements of his personality that have still to be unravelled

Jo appears to have depth and integrity but is powerless withing the house

Sam knows how to play the wind up, getting the others to react in more honest ways, showing some aspects of their true characters

Steve, tries to come across as the down to earth squadie he believes he once was, but has a depth of intolerence and bigotry about him

John James, Josie, JJ, Corin; all are from the same shallow and fake stable. They exist only to pretend to be what they are not, which are interesting and stimulating characters.

So yes, you're partly right, other peoples flaws can make for interesting viewing, just not those of such obvious fakeness and dullness as the last 4 people I mentioned. Big Brother could well have been a much better series if those 4 dead heads had never been in it.

Mystic Mock 09-08-2010 11:39 PM

john james hypocritical side came out when he nominated ben for saying about josies weight behind her back, but laughed at sam for saying its illigal for josie to wear a bikini and he has said that josies got a fat arse.
