I'm sick of hearing this, what a load of bull, it's just a pathetic attempt to excuse JJ1's behaviour. Sam does not "dish it out", he has barely ever, if at all, bitched about someone behind their back, especially not someone who sees him as a friend and trusts him.

People keep equating Sam jokingly insulting someone to their face with JJ's backstabbing bitching. He's called Josie a few names but its obvious that there is no malicious intent behind it, unlike the bitching that was going on in the shower.

The bottom line is John saw something about sammy in the betting ground saw him as a winner and now he's trying to dig up arguments that people said about him last week to cause trouble. after all if i'm arrogant john james in my head i will be thinking..hmm everyone i cause an argument with seems to leave..lemme cause an argument.

Of course he's dished it out but he doesn't really take it at all, it doesn't bother him. For example, yesterday when someone took his hat, he went in there shouting through a bottle to wind them up. He doesn't go off on one and be all hypocritical about it, he makes a joke out of it.

But as you said, it's not malicious, just a bit of fun.

Sam was upset because he thought John James was a friend and the person he felt closest to in the house. In their convo in the nest this morning Sam said "You didn't add to the conversation, you were leading it".

Sam is perfectly able to hold his own in a face to face, argument or banter, but was shocked to hear what was being said behind his back.

Sam says stuff to peoples faces, John James bitches & slags everyone off behind their backs & pretends to be their friends.... Fake ****.

I thought this too. He can give it out but doesn't like it when people say things to or about him. I am starting to like him but that's one of the problems with him. He was sucking up to Dave before nominations this week whilst John, Dave and Josie were laid on the bed and then he realised Dave couldn't nominate him anyway so he was like "What am I doing?! You can't nominate me anyway" and then he moved onto Josie, even though he didn't know she couldn't nominate him either so John was right saying he was sucking up to people.

...for airtime like john and josie?:wink:

That's why I doubt JJames would have said anything to Sam's face as he knows Sam would come back at him.

I think that's a pretty out there theory. Don't worry... it will go down well here though.

I know, all this bollox about poor Sam, everyone soon forgets what a wanker he's been and the fact everything they said was true, he is always in there grabbing the limelight. I think people on here are letting their hatred of others cloud their judgement

well nothing else really explains why he chose yesterday to dish and drag out arguments that people were talking to him about last week but he giggled at and defended sammy..as josie herself pointed out.

Sam takes it better than most. Some of the insults said to his face would break down any other housemate but Sam is in his element during those times because he likes the piss-take banter. Call him everything under the sun and he'll have fun with it. Call John James crab eyes and he starts PMS'ing like crazy.

I have no idea why Sam even thought John James was a friend in any way. Maybe because, while all the other housemates would tear into him, John James would either stay neutral or defend him.

Not saying that Sam is innocent. Of course people are going to moan about him to his face and behind his back. John James just does it in the most pathetic way.

the difference is simple. If Sam was bitching about them calling Josie behind her back a fat slag and saying it should be illegal for her to wear a bathing suit..all behind her back and viciously...that would make him a dick but he said all he had to say to everyone to their faces and it was all in fun. josie even laughed sometimes,so did john
it is not the same thing...taking it too would be if john james said all he had to say to him and not act like his friend, tickling him and **** and then bitching viciously about him.

hahaha oh right so its ok to get really personal and insult people and wind them up to their face but its not ok to state a perfectly legitimate opinion based on Sams behaviour in conversation with someone else, come on lets get real here...its not like John James wouldnt say it to his face either....we all know he has no problem telling people what he thinks

It was behind his back though & it was far worse than saying Sam is a "prat"... Sam thought he & John James were friends & he trusted him... Now he knows what a fake, lying, two faced, back stabbing, game playing bitch he really is...
