Let's combat all these 'evict the deadwood' votes by just voting John James out

All these groups formed by John James fans to save him are annoying me. If it was the other way round and John James was safe you know for a fact they'd be campaigning to get Sam and Corin out.

I have a change of opinion, I'm prepared to bored for a few days leading up to the Ultimate Housemates Contest so long as John James doesn't make the final.

He's got 1 in 3 votes in the eviction poll so everyone surely hasn't been sucked into the campaigns to save him.

Who's in? We only have to vote a quarter of what they're voting so we'll be ok. :joker:

How I Hate that skinny little ******. GET John James OUT

smudgie 14-08-2010 09:25 PM

As the campaign appears to be voting out 3 of my choice I will have more money to spend on my JJames eviction quest. Quite happy all in all.

Jack_ 14-08-2010 09:25 PM

I'm more of a Sam fan than I am a John James fan. But both of them deserve a place in the final far more than the likes of Steve, Mario etc.

This isn't a ploy for me to vote for Sam [because he's my favourite] - it's a ploy to do the RIGHT thing and get housemates out that have done **** all all summer.

headaball 14-08-2010 09:25 PM

Could do with a few of LiquidGold's totally unbiased views on John James about here.

I actually hope people do do this.

People who are not 'evicting deadwood' vote JJ. That way we lose 3 invisibles, and JJ. Perfect :D

Kazanne 14-08-2010 09:31 PM

I only REALLY dislike Crabby,so all our votes are going to him with a few thrown in for my next most disliked one Dave.

It also speaks to the immaturity of a lot of John James fans because what they want is Hollyoaks plots or what they consider 'exciting' is the most superficial of drama.

Let me say I am NOT trying to counter this by insisting Steve or Dave are the most exciting people on the planet,
but,
What I am saying is that there 'dull' and 'exciting' is not the only measure in existence and it doesn't go on a superficial scale of 'WHO IS KISSING THE MOST WOOOOO!'.

In fact, I have found it very interesting to see Steve cope with young silly people,
or,
soldier on as the 'rock' for most of them at some point,
and,
occasionally giving some insight into his attempted murder or how he deals with it positively.
Steve dealing with missing his family has been some heart-wrenching moments in the season.

Again, I am not touting Steve as 'Mr.Excitement' but this is communicating to younger people (or the superficial ones) that there is more that makes up people than "Who has the petty argument and later kisses in bed!!!".
and anything less is 'more dull'.

I mean I suppose that IS how someone 16 years old DOES see things because they can't yet take in more complex and deeper aspects of life,
and,
we were all like that too. Its not a crime to be at that station in life,
but,
try and go forward.

One thing we all may agree with - JJ2 is about as interesting and active as wallpaper.
I was actually more interested in watching the paint dry than watching JJ2 on the highlights. I mean I actually went to see if it was drying during his segments which seem to be him 'doing nothing at all'.

Do you know what WOULD be interesting?
If JJ was gone now.
Then you would see a whole new dynamic open up in there.

JJ is actually one of the main things right now 'locking up' the house.

But hey.. ewwwwwww maybe him and Josie will KISSSS WEEEEEEE!!!

Mario's not in the 'evict the deadwood' groups because of Mario fans complaining. That's when you know the whole things a joke. Mario's one of the biggest bores this series but they replace him with Dave, not because he's a bore but because he's disliked.

Jesus - you shouldn't be voting on who you dislike. That's not the point. It's an ENTERTAINMENT show.

You [and everyone else] should be voting for who is dull and does nothing and doesn't deserve to be there.

I agree - but it's not up to me. The main dullards I want out are Steve and Mario, really.

But if it means Steve will go, then I'm willing to join a campaign with other housemates.

Probably the first time I've read one of your essays and agreed ElProximo. :joker: Keep it up.

imo,Crabby IS dull,he does nowt but bicker and pick on people,so why should he be rewarded by thinking he is loved,I will vote for Crabby as HE is the one that has spoilt it for me this year.

Yes - and that is far more interesting/entertaining/has a greater impact on the house than the likes of Steve, Mario etc.

What impact have they had on the house? None whatsoever.

Had it not been for John the most entertaining moment in weeks [the row with Sam] wouldn't have happened.

Jordan. 14-08-2010 09:46 PM

As much as i hate John i am actually prepared not to vote him out so we can get the boring twats who dont deserve a place out.

You'll be one of a very few who sticks by that. The Sam fans will be voting for John James on the sly and vice versa. You can guarantee that.
