Ive seen a few people saying that someone who causes arguements is FAR more entertaining..

I could not disagree more.

Arguements cause negative atmospheres and the fun is sapped from the house.

John james has done nothing but bitch and moan, cause arguements, talk tactics and nominations none stop, caused conflict after conflict and completely brought this series down for me.

I would much rather laugh with housemates.

Corin has made me laugh out loud SEVERAL times this series, shes adorable!

Some of the things shes says, her reactions to things, her diary room entries and her sheer determination in tasks.

She hasnt had to resort to bitching and backstabbing and nomination tactics to entertain me.

Shes been a strong, livley contributer to this series, who has thoroughly enjoyed her time in the house and made the most of it!!

THAT is an entertaining housemate....JJ is has made me switch off for days at a time, Corin has been the only thing keeping me watching!

Someone like john james should have served his purpose weeks ago, he has survived on his looks and is fauxmance with poor Josie!

Let me tell you, if it was a house full of Steve's - you would not watch. Fact.

Arguments are far more entertaining than small talk from a bunch of non-entities, which had John had left, would've been the case.

his more entertaining than sam the 2 year old and steve who sits on the sofa and jj2 who clones john james.

But Jack....JJs fanbase is big enough that he could be in danger of winning if he makes the final!!

we cant risk him staying. I dislike steve also

But that would be a completely predictable and dull fina. When we have the opportunity to have one of the most unpredictable and exciting finals in years.

No one could call it. It would be an out and out battle right until the end. And an exciting one at that.

Why the **** anyone wouldn't want that is absolutely beyond me.

look at all the polls sam is miles ahead,but if you vote him out we would have a tight battle between josie and corin.

That's a sacrifice you have to make, if you REALLY want someone to win that much.

Predictable winners are dull. An unpredictable final would make for great television.

Very much doubt it - Sam and John James especially have just as much chance, if not more chance than Josie of winning.

But Corin's and Josie's fanbases are more than capable of making them win.

I personally enjoy seeing arguments in Big Brother, but it doesn't matter with John James at this stage anyway. He is boring as sin to watch 99% of the time and is responsible for nearly every good housemate from this series getting evicted. That means he is an active show ruiner.

FGS Carole got into plenty of arguments (although she normally finished them by bursting into tears at will), was that a good enough reason to keep her in the house for 94 days?

I have to say that I don't mind some of the arguements as they can be entertaining - depending on who is putting who down. As much as I'm pleased that Jo was evicted on Friday I did enjoy watching her put John James in his place. He didn't have the guts to answer her back but, unfortunately, Jo left it too late.

I do agree with everything that you have said about Corin. She is the epitome of what a BB HM should be. All along she is the only one who has been true to herself and her enthusiasm for the tasks, her delight a being in the house is very infectious. Just a pity some of that some of her enthusiasm doesn't rub off on the others. It would be travesty if Corin didn't win.

I agree, I dont want to watch arguments either....I cant see how strife in entertaining...I like people that make me laugh.

I like a good mix of drama and laughter.

We need people who will spark arguments off earlier on in the series...or it just gets boring.

Then again, we have plenty of argumentative ones now, and its boring...

I would rather watch a good old bust up than listen to Corin say Mint,Im loving it ,Josie sucking her thumb while horizontal,Dave reading a fiction book ,Steve going on about Northern Ireland

I'd much much much rather laugh with the Josies and Corins of Big Brother than sit there watching the arguments and the nastiness
And that doesn't mean I want a house full of Steves
Just that the nastiness isn't necessarily needed!
Sure we need a bit of drama and all that, but I just don't understand how people can find other people arguing and fighting 'entertaining' - it's beyond me

It depends whether it's an intelligent argument and makes sense.

Also I don't find Corin that funny, she isn't that verbally skillful anyway, or uniquely quirky enough.

Exactly the 5 I would want in the final ...Dave only by default though.
