I am happy that you came thru your own cancer fight, so see why you take it so seriously( but some [imo deluded] people do actually believe in faith healing and it is a comfort to them but try and let some of the hate go before it eats you up it is ONLY a gameshow and most will be forgotten within minutes of the show being over |

I couldn't care less if you don't believe it, I know what I saw & heard... :xyxwave: Can you prove Dave's claims that he can cure cancer? Grow new limbs? That he has seen a werewolf? That fairies visit him? That he has visited the sun?? NO?...:xyxwave: |

Like you I know what I have seen and heard - and, as JJ would say, don't give a rat's arse what you think! |

I did see him say that they charged £30 for the "sloshfests" round about then tho. His "friend" who may be a member of his church or not for all I know says that they dont. There has been no facts found or posted here showing that they do charge for faith healing or prayers, something that i would have thougth in the modern age they would include somewhere on the interwebby thing that soem people have scoured for info on him I cant prove his claims and dont believe them meself but i dont believe a lot, if not all, claims that come from all religions. It still does not make every clergyman a conman tho. I do tho know that some people do actually believe in faith healing and I am happy that it brings them some comfort whether I think its bunkum or not is irrelevant to me. I judge Dave on his house time and see him as one of the better inmates this year and as such i want him to survive on Friday |
David and Crowderites ought to be thankful for the masses of 'conman' accusers who have swarmed the forums boards.
Why? Because they keep anyone from discussing and challenging the actual problems with this group and what kind of harm David's stunts may really be doing to the Church or to the perception of the unChurched for that matter. These guys here stampeding topics with 'conman' accusations have done a great job keeping anyone from asking (or answering for) the real tough issues. So has David. "She wanted to talk to me about (God, Church) and I just said NO!" and that ended that. David would RATHER have Housemates mocking him or questioning if he 'hates gays' or having some 'atheist' debate with him, but, he does not want and will not permit someone reasonably well-versed in the Bible to have pose some actual challenges. Anyways, Yes, I explained to people on here the wheelchair was to show he was so 'drunk in the spirit' that he could not even walk and they were NOT going about taking donations. What I don't like about the wheelchair stunt is that (as seen here) does give people a false impression at it's face value. Worse yet it give the impression that Jesuits may not only be drinking alcohol but harassing people in public, and, even worse is that once they get the idea they are embarrassed about Christianity or the Church and want to avoid it and keep their children from that, and, maybe the worst thing is that it will attract those who are infatuated with physical gratification (addicts, drunks) and it really tells them that Christianity is about the very same thing - sensual pleasure, physiological relief, having their brain tickled or numbed. Carnal pleasures. |
