Claymores 17-08-2010 01:46 PM

I luv free holidays - I'm going over to Germany in September to get ratassed as stay if friends' spare room.

My best was Mauritious when a pal worked there - can Dave not open the Mauritian Chapter?????? My pal Alice might be able to help on a good price for Scuba Diving lessons to meet the Lord underwater.

flamingGalah! 17-08-2010 01:59 PM

Dave gets more & more vile... Didn't think it was possible... :nono:

psychtracker 17-08-2010 02:03 PM

Not half as much as you seem to... ;)

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 17-08-2010 02:09 PM

how long has he claimed to be a born again christian?

I really don't know what he's doing. It's totally new. In some churches I know pastors pray on people that ask for it and at that moment they seem in a trance or something like that, but dave and his pals being drunk on the lord out of nowhere is just weird. maybe he needs to invent a new name for what he and his friends practice.

WOMBAI 17-08-2010 02:12 PM

I thought it was hilarious - Dave is a funny guy!

flamingGalah! 17-08-2010 02:14 PM

And as if by magic, Dave's Mum appears... :joker:

he can be funny. but he shouldn't claim that this is christianity. Just because someone reads the bible and quotes stuff from it from time to time to apply to everyday life doesn't mean that they can do anything they like and claim christianity or glory or whatever. But unfortumately many people do this around the world. Do evil acts in the name of religion which reflects badly on people that practice the religion correctly.

Beso 17-08-2010 02:16 PM

Is it true though, is it really dave, you know what it's like around here with false accusations from certain members of the dave haters society or d.i.c.k.s for short

Shardlake 17-08-2010 02:21 PM

All in the glory

There are no hard and fast rules on how to practice Christianity! If Dave and his group believe in Christianity - they are free to practice is how they choose!

They have made it quite clear that their aim is to change people's views of what Christianity is about and remove the conservative, old-fashioned, autere image most people have of it and open it up to a wider, younger audience- by making it more fun!

As the numbers of people practicing Christianity in Britain has fallen - it is a logical way to attract more younger people into it and keep Britain's traditionally Christian heritage!

btw - what evil have they done?

fingers 17-08-2010 02:33 PM

A normal day in the BBHouse, Sloshfest style!

and none of them have been certified sane as yet!

there are plenty of churches and groups that already do this and none of them involve getting drunk on the lord this way (which some hardcore christian would question just what lord is he getting drunk on?), doesn't involve drinking actual wine, doesn't involve swearing, doesn't involve praising the idea of seeing someone change into a werewolf. Christians would denounce that and pray hard so they never images like that again that is why they don't idolize statues, images etc..(view moses film where he reads the commadments and burns images and statues :joker:)

is it really? what has attracted you so far?

when I said "evil acts" I meant in general really. But from what he's being saying so far about werewolves and stuff like that christians would relate that more to voodoo than christian like things. If you see stuff like that fair enough, but they would pray against it as they believe as real as god must be so is the devil who is capable of many things aswell

I think you will find there are no laws which say otherwise.

And they don't get literally drunk (on alcohol) it is a metaphor - for the resulting affects of euphoria!

I don't practice any religion - you don't have to be religious to like Dave!

Again the werewolf stuff - I think you are taking it too literally!

Didn't see him weeping about missing his kids, but then there was no prize to be won!

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 19-08-2010 04:51 PM

Did he just call Andrew stone "jesus"? that's how you know he's got a loooooooooong way to go as a christian. Christians know the commandment "thou shalt not take the name of god in vain" that goes for jesus aswell. It might've been a joke but it wouldn't be to hardcore christians.
So please let's not use dave as an example of christianity :)

HBB1508 19-08-2010 04:52 PM

Andrew Stone's guitarist is called Jesus :)
