Anybody else find his eviction quite moving?
Or was it just me?
I just felt kind of emotional when he came out to all those massive cheers :conf: I was NOT a 'fan' or 'hater' of Steve, I just didn't mind him. |
I'm glad he got a good reception - he's a decent bloke but just didn't seem to do much as a housemate.
|
I found it emotional :( mainly how he thought he was in the final at first. :( Then he came out to cheers and it was great :D and moving. He deserves it, he is a great bloke.
|
I'm glad he got cheered.
I dont like how they made out that he was the 9th evictee though, the no particular order thing was total bollocks. |
i loved it. i would have been very disappointed with the crowd if they had booed him, so althoughi didnt feel emotional i did appreciate the moment for what it was
|
Ive always like him and wanted him to get 5th place in the finale up until he said he would rather have Keeley back in the house than his wife.
But all things a-side Im glad he got cheered to. |
I was chuffed he got the reception he did.
Not the best housemate, but he was far better than many of the others. Hoping he does well for his charity on the back of it as I am sure most of the other housemates will do something or other for themselves. |
It was very moving, I'm glad he got a warm reception from the crowd

Not me - he should have gone weeks ago - he was useless as a housemate - he just sat on the sofa or stood behind it when he wasn't lying in bed - a personality might have made up for his lack of mobility but he didn't have one - the only time he "perked" up was when he was "perving" on Keeley .....
|
Yeah, I was pleased he got the reception he did. I actually felt sorry for him when Davina called his name, he took it really well, although he looked a bit dissapointed at first
The way they evicted people wasnt really fair though, it made it out as though he was the one the public wanted out the most |
Totally underserving reception IMO and it only makes Steve feel validated into thinking he was a worthy housemate.Yes the guy didn't deserve loud boo's although if the crowd stayed perfectly silent upon his exit it would of been perfect.
To hear him on BBBM talking like some spokesman for people with disabilities (which I am one) was embarrasing and using it as his reason to go on Big Brother was even worse. Here's a thought for Steve..... if he really wants to show that his disability does not effect him he should go and get a job and stop sitting on your arse collecting welfare payments for himself and his gazillion children. |
I didn't like him as a housemate, I wanted him out weeks ago but I was glad he got a good reception.

Not really, but his eviction song was moving. Everyone else got pop songs.
|
He had to get cheers...even the numpties who go to the evictions had to respect what he has gone through

The boos from john james would of scared them more too. Plus it was a anti climax when it was john james and dave left |
Steve had a very good interview, so he was respected from the production team's part as well. He is a nice man and he had his moments, but people expect a housemate to be more social.
