Sophie & Sian webchat!

ITV will probs post a summary of questions later, but here's one of the questions I liked best

Comment From Chewy
Are you both excited for the 50th? :D

Sacha Parkinson:
@Chewy We are really excited about the 50th. The tram crash is something different, and there will be lots of things we have never done on Corrie
12:56

Brooke Vincent:
@Chewy As well as it being the 50th its also the start of a new generation of how they film things. These past 5 years the way that we handle issues is changing and developing

What did you ask Brooke to make her answer with that?

I can see Sian dying in the tram crash too

Scarlett. 24-08-2010 03:03 PM

The bit in bold is what I asked :p the webchat was on ITV.com at 12:30 :p

Smithy 24-08-2010 03:04 PM

Oh :p, well I woulda asked them something, but I forgot to wake up :D

I wonder what they mean by how they film thingd

Scarlett. 24-08-2010 03:08 PM

I think they mean we could start to see a lot more professional techniques coming in, the tram crash will change the set too, maybe they might even start using CGI to show down Rosamund and Viaduct Street

Smithy 24-08-2010 03:10 PM

Oh that'd be pretty cool, usually whenever they're outside the pub, rosamond street just likes a paper backdrop (ik it is a paper backdrop, but they could make it more realistic)

Scarlett. 24-08-2010 03:12 PM

yeah thats true, they could just replace it with a green screen and easily edit it in when needed, the pic is getting old too! Also the viaduct beside the Rovers has got a bit of a revamp too!
