John James Wanted To Win...Here's Why

Really early on in the series everyone went on and on about his
competitive nature. He often showed it in challenges.

Later on everyone said that's why he and JJ2 got on so well.

Then on a very early BBLB they were highlighting some of John James
australian quotes, one being...

"I'm not here to bat wombats!"

Which means, I'm not here to waste my time, I'm here to play the game
and win.

Bell end.

He went on and on later about how he didn't care about winning and was
just there for the experience and to make friends. He started claiming that, when he knew there was no way in hell he was going to win.

Listen mate, there's a lot easier ways to make friends than to travel first class from Skippyland to England. What if he hadn't been chosen?

Wanker.

Everyone knows someone who wants to win everything they do, but when
that person becomes aware they have no chance of winning something they
start to sprout off how they never cared in the first place.

He also claims he never really watched the show, but Corin said he knew
how many windows there were, how many cameras there were, etc.

Tosser.

I liked him until the first time he began crying when he and Josie argued, after that I started to think something was up.

And don't get me started on Josie...

It was obvious from Day 1 that he wanted to win as he wasted absolutely no time in targetting people for nomination and elimination, nor did he waste time selecting the perfect fallguy as his partner in the fauxmance, the dozy Josie, who felt grateful he even looked her way. He had a couple of hiccups on the way when Josie reacted unexpectedly to his shenanigans and he had to turn on the waterworks and go for the sympathy vote to reel her back in. Between the two of them they managed to target and eliminate any real competition, in particular anyone who upset JJ1 was voted out by his daft tweenie army who had convinced themselves he was actually interested in the vertically challenged, chubby ladette.

The public finally saw through the sad aussie freak and voted him out next chance they got. Sadly they were denied the same chance with Dozy who successfully flew under the radar all through the show, avoiding nomination and therefore depriving the public of the chance to boot her out, and then she is handed a free pass to the final by only three of her fellow HMs, the rest being too brainwashed and intimidated to get a look in on the vote.

During the final week, Dozy set about aligning herself against JJ1 to make herself look good and "exposing" his faults just as she did with Sunshine and Keeva, and she was hugely instrumental in getting him evicted because the vast majority of the GBP don't watch LF and so are brainwashed by the clearly biased HL shows.

So in gameplaying terms, it is ironic and totally fitting that the biggest gameplayer in the house, JJ1, was outmanouevred at the final hurdle by the very person he had been playing all through the show. In any event we, the public, have only ever had two choices of winner because that was always the intention of Endemol and BB, and noone will convince me otherwise.

It was always a win for him so long as he or Josie got through.

Roll on the magazine deals.

LOL! You can talk... :joker:

Yep it was sooooo obvious that John James wanted to win, purely from the fact that he had to constantly tell everyone that he didn't want to win... The lady doth protest too much... :xyxwave:

I didn't even watch the finale on Tuesday once I found out Josie had won.

It reminds me of a few years back on Survivor when the two finalists were Rob and Amber (and they were a couple on the show). I hated them both so much that I didn't want to either to win, but I knew for them it was a win win situation.

Angus58 - very good analysis! I agree with everything you said.

Livia - thank you

I hope Josie doesn't win UBB, or I won't be watching that finale later (I get the show a day after you guys in case your wondering).
