Coolio's cunning plan ??

Does anyone else think that Coolio's plan is to be evicted first, so he can grab the money and run!!
He just does'nt seem interested at all to me!...And is just simply going through the motions!
Is it because that he has realised that , even though last time, he gave it his best shot...The British public would never have allowed this brash American character to win!....And so he just agreed to take part for the money...and planned to be boring enough to 'legitimately' escape on the first eviction?

What do you think? :conf:

cub 26-08-2010 11:35 PM

You mean you don't think he's there for the whole Big Brother experience and a photoshoot in Nuts? I'm surprised you would think that ...

CaudleHalbard 26-08-2010 11:37 PM

At least McCririck's honest about it although he's clearly a huge BB fan! ;)

Big_Kahuna 26-08-2010 11:37 PM

Imagine losing a popularity contest to John Mcririck

Zippy 26-08-2010 11:38 PM

Of course he's just here for the cheq. Lazy old cu nt.

Get the cheq and then the next plane outta here. Zzzzz.

cath03 26-08-2010 11:52 PM

I bet a lot of them have the same game plan.

Ulrika wanted them all to go home as soon as Josie walked.

Zippy 26-08-2010 11:57 PM

They should be paid by the hour. That'd make them make an effort to stay in longer!

Now there's an idea. Let them work for their money.

Coolio is in debt I read a couple of months ago, so when the offer has come along he has obviously had to take it.

His name is too big for the show anyway, it's sad that someone that has topped charts around the world and won grammy awards has come as low down as a reality show that gets about 2 million viewers in the UK.

Well I hope he survives the eviction tomorrow and just think it's a shame that he's been put up for eviction so soon. He's got a wicked sense of humour, that sadly goes over some of the stuffier hms heads.

They just don't get him.

If he's really getting the reported £175k for this gig, it seems the eminantly logical way to make 'an easy buck' lex.

Yep!...You're right Locke!...Just checked it out on the web...he's as poor as a church mouse!...Explains a lot really!

I just happened to find this as well!...Off topic, but I thought (in my own warped head) that it was funny!!

During February 2009 Coolio did a stage dive at a college show in England in Stoke-On-Trent. Nobody caught him. As he lay on the ground people stole his chains and his clothes. As James Fielden describes, "He nearly flattened one poor girl. Then all the students decided to launch on him. They grabbed whatever they could, including his trainers, watch, chains and glasses. He was pulled back on stage by the bouncers. They got his shoes back for him." [16]
....from wikki.

Wonder if they're the same shoes that he went into the house with? :joker:

Yep Claymores, you're right!...But I did'nt know that he was skint. And now it all makes sense....he's not really doing it to promote himself...he's just there to grab the cash!..I've also read where he's been 'done' for 'crack-cocaine',...that'll explain why he's so skint then! :nono:

Slightly OT as well Lex but....

You acknowlge that he made a big effort last time round. I think he believed that, win or not, he could gain a lot of profile in the UK from his BB appearance and this could make the trip across an even bigger money-earner.

His fans of the time certainly raved on and on that he was gonna be 'the next big thing' when he got out.

Shortly thereafter I read about him doing an appearance/performance (Gangsta Paradice only probably) at a Niteclub in Cleethorpes - this in February :joker: What was more amusing was his fans here claiming this validated their predictions of his resurgence to fame :joker:

No wonder he realises it's the fee then fast jet home this time, and no wonder he has no desire for an extended stay.

LOL. Its 2010 not 1995. He hasnt been relevant in the music industry for a long long time. He's lucky reality shows will have him. Thats all he's good for these days in truth.

Correct!...But call me sentimental...but it does'nt seem to be 'that long ago' that the grandkids were raving about him!...It just goes to show, what a 'fleeting- chance' stardom is for most of these sensations!
Seeya later Buddy!...Bedtime.
