Chantelle now favorite to win

http://www.oddschecker.com/specials/tv/big-brother

Brian and Nikki follow.

Jords 27-08-2010 01:47 AM

:D

Whats up with Ulrika's odds? 4th favourite to win? Wow.

Mario Mugan 27-08-2010 01:48 AM

And rightly so if you ask me!
If Nikki Grahame doesn't win, I would love to see Chantelle win.
I love Coolio but I think he will be out first sadly.

Zippy 27-08-2010 01:49 AM

OH FFS about Ulrika!! Who the hell votes for that mumsy bore?

But Chantelle is my tip to win. Still as lovable as she was in CBB. Brian I expect to be her closest rival. Nikki is too marmite although I worship her!

Big_Kahuna 27-08-2010 01:54 AM

Chantelle get's the sympathy vote. Don't get me wrong I like the girl, but all those girls who have had break-ups will relate to her. Wearing her heart on her sleeve will win her this.

She became favourite to win last night without her being upset about the divorce had been shown.

I think the biggest appeal for Chantelle to win is the fact she is exactly like before on CBB4 which is generally very sweet and lovely but shes also quite level-headed if a bit dipsy at times.

My opinion anyway. :)

cath03 27-08-2010 02:00 AM

I was a big Chantelle fan on CBB4 and she's still the same lovely person.

Hopefully BB don't eff it up by trying to force a 'will they won't they get back together' storyline down our throats. In fact, I hope Preston gets evicted soon and goes back to his lover in the States.

Chantelle will shine with or without him in there, but more so if he's gone.

I can't see much changing with Chantelle throughout the show. She's not calculating or devious, and I doubt she has any big gameplan stuck up her sleeve to wow the viewers.

Sure she's up against some really good characters that will indeed have gameplans...or at least will devise some and they will also be loved for exactly those reasons.

That's why I think Chantelle will remain pretty steady throughout the show with others rising of falling behind her, depending on how entertaining they are at any given time.

It's refreshing I think that we have a girl that doesn't even have to try that hard to impress us with tricks and gameplans, because her personality alone is what is going to put her up there amongst the finalists.

Good. She's lovely.

Ulrika...4th? No. Just no.

She did not - she became favourite to win after Josie left

Youre right, was trying to think back when Paddy made this thread and thought it was last night as I knew it was way before the highlight show.

Anyhow, point still proven that her being upset about the divorce hadnt affected the odds to make her favourite as it hadnt aired yet, even clips on BBLB hadnt yet when she moved to favourite.

Zippy 27-08-2010 02:17 AM

Think she would have beaten Josie tbh. Josie just had her glory and prize money.

Pink Pegasus 27-08-2010 02:22 AM

aww, I love Chantelle. Loved her in her series, and she's just as good if not better in this series. She had me nearly in tears earlier watching her in the diary room! She seems to have such a lovely personality, someone you could easily see yourself being friends with, very down to earth, sweet, and there's something endearingly dorky about her, the way she laughs and carries on at times. I found it funny the faces she was making earlier when Coolio had his head resting on her shoulder. There's something just quite quirky and very very likable about her. A real sweetheart. Loved her first time round and hope she goes very far in this series.:)

Nah, not a chance with the Twitter mob. As soon as they thought Chantelle was a favourite against Josie, they'd have been voting en masse.

I'm just glad that Josie is no longer there and it's a level playing field.....and perhaps even the Twitter mob can get a level of perspective now that the JJJ era is finally over.

Makosi3 27-08-2010 07:50 AM

hope Makosi wins

eye sea 27-08-2010 08:33 AM

I'd be happy if she won. Better than fat-ass Josie. :D

Jackie 27-08-2010 09:13 AM

chantelle is a really nice girl not like the rest in their fame hungary

Blink_Me 27-08-2010 09:15 AM

Why is Ulrika one of the favourites?

eye sea 27-08-2010 09:18 AM

Chantelle remind me of the late Princess Diana. There's a lot of frailty about her.

That's just how I feel. I liked her before, and I still like her.

This ^

the minute she started crying last night I was thinking oh ffs guess who's going to win! I do like Chantelle but I don't think she'd be a deserving winner :bawling:

starry 27-08-2010 12:42 PM

It's exactly the same as the Sophie sympathy vote last year. I find her just as dull as last time though.

That's not why some like her though, it's the romance angle. Normally people who are delicate are considered 'needy' and are criticised heavily by the audience. Chantelle is a rather small and average character, maybe the audience identify with that but I'm not sure it's good TV.

Brain has overtaken Chantelle on the odds and she is drifting now, pretty much across the board.
