Last nights show get's 2.5 million viewers.

The ratings are really dissapointing and i dont think tonights early start will help either. They didnt even advertise at the end of last nights episode that it would be starting early

Raph 29-08-2010 01:03 PM

2.5 Only?

Jack_ 29-08-2010 01:05 PM

Oh dear...what happened to the over 3m mark?

daniel-lewis-1985 29-08-2010 01:08 PM

daniel-lewis-1985 29-08-2010 01:11 PM

These are not officials so will rise but they do include +1

BBfan46 29-08-2010 01:15 PM

I think the problem is that people think they're above watching Big Brother the 8m that used to watch it think all the new HM's are 'wannabes' or in the case of this series 'has beens' they think they're socially better, my auntie was saying this about herself but she admitted to watching this years CBB and loving it, so I convinced her to watch UBB so ratings are about to soar to 2,500,001. ;)

wilful_woodpecker 29-08-2010 01:17 PM

how are Sunday's figures there????

No - tonight's early show won't attract as many as would normally watchh - tho people who miss it can use +1 if they have digital, to watch at "normal" time

Obviously, Coolio v Nadia and Coolio's departure may bring in extras - especially those who like "fights"

daniel-lewis-1985 29-08-2010 01:17 PM

Im just waiting to see the officials.

Hopefully they can bring those 2 dissapointing rated shows up to 3.m

It just pisses me off that they couldnt even anounce on last nights highlights that bb would start earlier tonight.

The ratings counting is a load of crap. How do they count 2.5 million viewers?

It's stoopid.

fitz2k2 29-08-2010 01:26 PM

they put in wack housemates.they are missing like 6 argumentative people

Tom4784 29-08-2010 01:42 PM

BB10 would have killed for those ratings. It's the same with every program ever, the first few episodes will do well and then it drops slightly to a more consistent number.

That sounds like a fair summary this series has faired better than many would have expected it may give c4 food for thought.

Mac Hiavellian 29-08-2010 01:52 PM

There's a lot of stuff I actually like about UBB, like how the HMs are actually a good mix (bar Preston). They're all living up to their reputations with John having his silent protests, Coolio winding them up, Makosi being a Diva etc etc

BUT it's still suffering from being watered down and still damaging the original concept. BB shouldn't have offered to give John a newspaper, and as fun as it is to see other ex HMs in there for tasks, they shouldn't really be interacting with the main group. Sending Mr Snuggles away early, hardly using the bedsit, and ejecting Coolio over a simple argument shows BB is still afraid of Ofcom and has become too tame.

These day's BB's softer than a Quilted Velvet toilet roll but ends up being a pain in the arse.

Oh yeah the ratings are so mucg better than BB10 all im saying is that alot of people were expecting the overnights to hit the 3 million mark. However with the officials yet to be released theres still a chance they can :)

Saturday shows are always a bit crap though, i hardly watch them either, they are more or less a replay of the live show the night before.

Plus many of big brothers target audience are out on sat nights.

True friday and saturday nights always draw the lowest ratings of the week.

SaveBigBrotherOnFacebook 29-08-2010 02:09 PM

People allways say that a saturday show is just a replay of the eviction but its not lol. The eviction only takes up about 5 minutes of the show and the rest is completly new footage.

Okay I've deleted the argument, we all love a good debate guys but keep it on topic and don't get personal okay?
