Was Coolio's Departure more of a Walk or Ejection?
 

On the C4 site and according to Emma Willis on BBLB it was a mutual decision and BB certainly didn't try to stop him leaving. The site says he 'Left' rather than 'Walked' or be 'Ejected' and back in BB8 Jonathan also 'Left' after his grandmother died, rather than 'Walk'.

So, when a Hm has 'Left' it's a mutual decision between them and BB but which side does it stretch more to?

BB was kinda putting the words in his mouth, I dont think he really wanted to leave, dont see Coolio as a quitter, so Id say more of an ejection.

BB more or less passed on Nadia's ultimatum to him and he chose the second option.

I suppose he was given that option but like Jords said BB forced it on him.

Maybe he did say something really offensive that wasn't shown and BB felt the problem be rectified one way or another as swiftly as Emily's ejection in BB8

If he said something terrible Victor and Michelle didn't notice, they seemed not to understand what all the fuss was about.

This whole Coolio thing was quite lame and seems entirely unnecessary. They really just hassled him until he started getting claustrophobic in a way about being held in 'detention'. You could tell he was feeling 'panicky' and annoyed.
They then quickly accommodated him by opening a door.. I dunno.. it seemed pointless and even like they just lost a lot of entertainment value.

Let Nadia walk if she couldn't take it. Not forcing Coolio out. I dunno.. they blew this one.

LF was a totally different story to that small clip we were shown on the HL show

Considering when a housemate asks to leave it usually takes around 12 hours of repeated asking then another 12 hours to "get the wheels in motion" Big Brother where happy to just let him leave and even had someone onsite to open the door for him.

He knew he was no longer wanted in there

I think he was shoved. But in fairness the HL show indicated it was they who wanted him to talk, then walk

They didn't try to keep him thats for sure. Look at how they tried everything to keep Shabby, John James and keeva from leaving. Now compare that to what they did with Coolio.

Nadia was more respnsible for raising the temperature in that squabble. Nadia should've gone. Nadia just freaked and upped the ante, and made it a quitting matter. Nothing terrible was said.

And it's disgusting they let John James have that phone call to Nathan. In a way I'm glad they didn't let Josie get a call but why give John James one in the first place? If he walks, he walks.

Ejected, it was him or Nadia so obviously BB persuaded Coolio out.

Is it too late to turn this in to a poll? Should have done that in the first place

Something has obviously happened that the producers deem potentially offensive to viewers, and are thus trying to avoid showing it at all costs to avoid a controversy.

Sad, really, as BB thrives off controversies. But like I've been saying, CBBC BB.

Anyway, on topic - if the above is true then it was probably more of an ejection. I imagine they came to an agreement that it would appear to be more his decision, however he would still get his full fee as it was a mutual agreement, as he didn't just quit.

Lol, I'd like to see Mr Snuggles on CBBC. But yeah I get what you mean and I wonder if Coolio will appear on BBLB, Big Mouth and the finale or if he'll just slip away

Maybe they thought with what Ulrika & Brian had said in the kitchen that it was time for him to leave.
She said something along the lines of Coolio said he was gonna up his game, Brain comes back and says something like thats kinda threatning & Ulrika agreed.

He shouldnt have left, & thought the "Cha-ching" junk that Nikki had said when BB announced he left was not called for.

It's really hard to judge it based on what was shown. All I know for sure is I think Nadia over-reacted. BB cut from the diary room to the conversation where Nadia said it's either her or him, and cut back to the diary room and said something along the lines of the atmosphere not changing in the house. I wish it had been Nadia instead of Coolio.

the way I saw it, BB asked him to leave Nadia alone or leave and he said he wouldn't be changing the way he was with Nadia so they told him to leave

He wanted to return
without saying sorry,
so he had no other way out ,
but to walk.

I hope he is on BBLB tonight.

He was in and out of the DR most of the morning so it wasn't as if he went in once and then left.

Ejection, walkers have to wait
