Nooo! Don't make UBB a reincarnation of BB5!!?
 

I reeeeally hate BB5 with a passion !!


In short, I hated the housemates and the whole heartless type of feel to it.

So, I was sooo disappointed when both of the new housemates were from that series and with the whole BB5 bumming in general.

Thankfully though, not absolutely pure hating it because Michelle was one of the few that I quite liked and because there is no denying that the bedsit was totally classic and lead to fight night, one of the very biggest moments in BB history.


And as it's happened it has been good so far. (Non of the BB5 nastiness etc.)


But then on tonight's ep, :( :bawling: !!!!!! NOOOOOOO Victor is talking about starting up all his game playing BS !!!?!
That was one of the absolute worst things about that series!! :(
It's so sly, horrible, pretty pathetic and takes all the fun out of the show.



Literally could change the intire feel of UBB ! :( !!!

It's the final series, its supposed to be fun, nice, exciting, special and remind us why we love BB. Not all negative and with housemates trying to ****** the others over.


I've been loving UBB so much so far. It's been so packed with fun, great moments without having to resort to arguments without good reason, throwing in nasty or mad people or people plotting against people.



Please, please, pleeease don't let UBB become a reincarnation of BB5 ! :(





Also UBB is representing all BB's it shouldn't have vibe that is strongly associated with one series in particular. :(

I can't be ******ed reading that but I can see how pissed off I would be if I hadn't watched BB5 and enjoyed it.

I would literally be going balistic on here over the way they are re-creating it.

So I can see where you're coming from but BB5 was brilliant.

So much game playing, tasks, twists, non stop banter.

No, it hasn't ..... it's been a depressing drag of former HMs going through the motions to get their fee .....

Brian, Victor, Michelle and now Nick are the only HMs, so far, prepared to earn their fee .....

although i didnt like nadia winning bb5,you could say it was 1 of the 3 best big brothers!

You can't just declare things like that. As if it just is the way it is. Especially when they aren't facts just your opinions, and therefore nothing to 'deal with'.

And FYI statistically BB3 was 'the greatest series ever'. You deal with that.

I don't like Rachel Rice, not liking horrible people or game playing doesn't mean I'm going to like boring HMs. I just don't like people that be horrible without good reason.

BB being a tactical game is just what a certain type of person will see it as.
The vast majority don't.

It's created as a psychological experiment, it's about the housemates and who they are and how they interact and deal with the situations.


My fair and valid point is that I just don't enjoy all the game playing BS.
Who *******ing cares about that crap, it's the people that are interesting.
If I wanted to watch that kind of thing I'd watch BB USA.
Game playing is only fun in the right setting, when everyone is aware of it and the purpose is to be trying to out smart the others. Not in UK BB where a lot of them come in with a completely different agenda and perspective of the show.




Everyone was saying BB11 was like a return the classic years of BB, because it had really good HMs with depth, that we grew to like and empathise with. Not just mad people causing drama and people being horrible for the hell of it.

I agree with this and I think that is why from BB7,8,9,10 were not as popular as the previous ones, but BB5 was an epic series! I don't know how you missed the depth of the characters because I thought there was loads!

What about the greatest BB romance between Michelle and Stu? Fight Night, Michelle and Emma in the Bedsit! It was brilliant.

I like a villain and the ones that go in there to play the game are the most entertaining for me, I find the nicey nice ones boring and usually fake as ****.

I think that's exactly the point why I couldn't like it. I just really don't like villains. Like literally, on a very simple level, they are bad not good, I just don't think it's natural/ don't get how people can like that/them. And in the same vein I just really don't like all the hidden agendas and being two faced. I don't like the dishonesty.
I think it's also because not a given, it's sad on the that aren't playing.

BB11 was a clumsy, badly devised drag and the ending a complete farce.

And lots of people thought exactly that, that the housemates had much more to them and weren't just crazy and acting up intentionally, thinking it's what's wanted from them like in some of the later series.

You're in a minority. And BB6 I think was more the heartless one.

Very few people are completely villains, you need to look past the pantomime it is promoted as and see most of the HMs as people with different sides to them.

It still is to an extent. But that is more for the longer series, not something under 3 weeks in length. Also there is so much manipulation and favouritism from the producers that it's very obvious to any HM that it is a game. Take nominations away and I suppose it would be less of a game. As it is it is too predictable for HMs not to play it partly as a game. Those who don't play the game so well get evicted pretty quickly of course, even if they are interesting characters.

Stop worrying ,as soon as Michelle or Vic the pric are up (Vic next time)they will go
