Ben Collins is the Stig
 

The BBC's attempt to block the publication of a book that reveals the identity of Top Gear's The Stig has been refused by the High Court.

The Stig has now been confirmed as racing driver Ben Collins.

Collins was linked to the role earlier this month when financial documents were obtained by a national newspaper.

You would have a hard time avoiding it. BBC news have also said it now, and by tomorrow it will probably be a big story in most national newspapers

I dunno why they even tried to keep it a secret. Obviously family and friends at the very least would know. It was never not going to leak sooner or later
